N'Jikam is down to fight Lorenzo to defend his interim title and Sturm has made it clear he has no interest in fighting Golovkin.

It's pathetic, I don't even know the last time Sturm made a mandatory defence, and whoever it was against, it was someone poor because he hasn't fought any top fighters in years.

German boxers make Swarmer a sad boy.

The MW division is so frustrating. All the prospects are afraid of each other or losing their belts, the veterans are all going for money shots against smaller titlists or fighters, and meanwhile there are oodles of competitive matchups that could be made but none of them are.

    lame.

from PR watch out for these names

jonathan gonzalez a welterweight with tremendous power should be fighting for a title next year he's 21yrs old

Jhonathan vidal bantamweight had a great amateur career also 21yrs old

there are a few mores but those are the ones i like plus sometimes the ones that are no considered great prospects rise to the top so who knows...

Talks of him trying to get a fight with Pavlik on June 25.. Sturm doesnt fight the highest level of competition, but I think he is very underrated.

As far as prospects.. Masao Nakamura and Luis Garcia.. Don't know if you would consider him a prospect, but Mercito Gesta as well..

He needs a better trainer and improved stamina. His impending collision with Brandon Rios would make him a star.

Agreed.. His stamina will improve with a pretty good conditioning coach as well.. He is a work in progress and theres no need to rush him..

Ive been talking to a well known prospect/fringe contender who is from Benavidez home town and he knows both guys personally very well and grew up with them thru the amatuer ranks... I though hed be partial to Benavides.... His opinion is that when it comes down to handling pressure and stepping up the comp that Gomez is the meaner cat and has skills to go with it.

Frankie Gomez from my old gym heres a vote for Frankie.
