    Greb's better at handball.

SRR is also a superior puncher from what i've read, better leverage on his shots and more accurate punching.

Believe it or not yes. NP Dempsey was the great grandfather of Eugene Scheuller, owner of Loreal

Thats a fkn ridiculous statement... how many times have you missed a fight & heard or read about it before viewing it ?.... then when you see it for yourself you are left wondering just what fight those other guys were watching.

Id rather see for myself than trust the word/imagination of somecunt else... maybe thats just me

Ring Generalship, Robinson is up 1 point.
Dominance, Robinson is up 1 point.

Experience, Durability, Performance Against Larger Opponents, and Intangibles is all Greb.

    Longevity, they're even.

Its a tremendously difficult claim to call any one man the greatest of all time ..Robinson seems to have been given the title much like Ali has all time heavyweight but I feel while both were exceptional its far from an open and shut case, especially for Robinson. Off the top of my head Charles, Greb, Langford and Fitz are right in there pound for pound. I am not overwhelmed with Ray's opponents at middleweight. That being said of course Robinson was sensational ... who really knows ..

agree. viewing fights with your eyes is COMPLETELY different than records. resume is important but it tells you only so much about a fighter and film is an added perspective as to the texture of a fight.

reading hopkins TKO 12 trinidad doesn't give you a full understanding of the brilliance of his performance, same as reading pacquaio TKO 8 De la Hoya doesn't tell you what a shell oscar was that night.

if i read, nothing else but Holyfield UD Foreman, I would have no idea just what a tremendous stand Big George took in that fight.

fights are far more than results and fighters are far more than stats

Yes. Ironically, for racism towards black people.

What do you know about modern technology and how it exactly works? CGI, airbrushing, B, trust it i do not. Though i know how ink is transferred to paper.

Are you seriously implying that modern technology, the such that is used in fight footage, is more subject to the tamperings of man than ink and paper? Nobody uses CGI on Robinson footage; I bet many a writer added their own subjective twist to narratings on Greb.

M, i very much doubt they did. From so many angles they switch to can distort the actual reality of what is happening. Along with film footage comes big-wig promotion. Ethnic minority fighters carry legion of loyal fans, which is great opportunities for promotions, M. With the riches they have in wealth and technology, there interests being to accumulate maximum profit, who is to say which filmed fights are fixed? To cater to the likeness of loyal fans/loyal customers would be smart, i would say. Coincidence the rise and success of black and foreign stars co-incides with the rise and success of filmed footage? I say no.

In a more fair and honest time, M, fighters fought for mere pennies, for personal pride. The playing field was level for all. Any historian knows that the great fighters, turn of the century, make up a large portion of any respectable P4P list. Yet today their names are all but forgotten. Coincidence? I say no.

Substance and honesty over glitz and flash. It is there to be read. Perhaps reading is not one of your strong points, M. Might i suggest the General Forum, is one up:deal
