Can Haye take away Wlads jab??

Klitschko has never fought anyone who has the handspeed and agility of Haye. A bit puzzled how so many people can accurately predict what will happen. He is not just going to stand there and get jabbed to death like an overweight Peter. He will pick his spots as he did against Valuev.

 

Maybe. If he counters on top of it, and uses great lateral movement and angles. If he hits and hurts Wlad, then Wlad will be wary of using it. Easier said then done though.

 

I'm not sure how you take away his jab unless you secretly carry an axe into the ring and chop his arm off or smthn...

 

If Wlad doesn't vary the speed or what he follows his jab up with, I can see Haye maybe learning to time it. However, if Wlad varies the pace of his jab along with occasionally doubling up on it or hooking off it, I can see it being difficult to deal with. I'd also like to see Wlad bait Haye with a slow jab and then go for a fast right to catch Haye mid-counter.

 

The same way Hopkins took Pavlik's jab. Stepping and countering.

 

You will all be shocked at how easily he slips the jab and counters and makes Wlad nervous as hell at just using the jab knowing what might come back.

Haye by KO in 3 or 4.

 

Well Haye isn't that hard to hit to be honest.

 

He also doesn't have Hopkins craftiness but still has more skills and lateral movement than the usual Wlad opponents. Also has the power to keep Wlad cautious. What happens when Wlad lands somethin flush though, that's the question.

 

Wlads mental superiority over haye will show in the fight...

 

personally I hope you're right, but thats a big statement.

I do think Wlad will be nervous at whats coming back, especially if Haye attacks early, but I still think he will settle into a rhythm with the jab, it's his best defence against Haye trying to take his head off.

Unless he is actually staggered. If he is staggered he will **** himself and Haye will KO him.

but, as I say, thats a big prediction to be making.

 

But at least he pops his jab instead of just pawing the air :yep

Im not saying Wlad has a bad jab just uses it more as a range finder to fire the right and with Haye's speed IF he can slip the jab he will connect! And as a few heavy have already said Haye's punches feel like he has bricks in his gloves. And we all know Wlads chin is in question.

And he when he fought ruiz he was walking back wards and fired that one/two and put him down now thats power. He did not even plant the shot not many heavy's can do that. Should it be SHOT OR NOT Ruiz. And hey Ruiz can take a shot he has proven that.
