Simpson v Smith (April 27th)

I rate him highly too could do big things. First fight showed he has no problem doing 12 and when things got tough he was prepared to get stuck in. If he has a chin anything like his brother he wont do half bad and he might have a decent bit of power to go with that too.

Tough division on world level though but if/when he hits that level who knows what the landscape will look like internationally

 

Yes it was in the middle rounds towards the end of the round he caught Simpson with a good right to the body and Simpson keeled over slightly and was able to grit it out but he was definitely hurt.

If Smith goes to the body early it will slow Simpson down and negate his stronger showing in the second half of the fight.

 

We'll see about that ,the o's going to go and Simpson will move away from domestic level for good,PS the Wildcard gym's got world champions in it?:huh

It's got fighters that would beat your prize asset Give Crolla a year and he will beat Ricky if given the chance, he'd give him serious problems now. :good

Simpson is a european level fighter. for smith to even lose a close decision to him is remarkable for his 10th fight.

I'm not alone in my view here, i genuinely believe Crolla would beat Ricky. Maybe not at this very moment in time, but 100% Crolla win if it was to happen in the not to distant future.

Mate Ricky beats Anthony, Anthony's a pal and has done very well winning the British title and credit should go to him and Joe,But is he the best?

 

If you think Crolla beats Ricky Burns, a world champion, based in wins against John Watson and Andy Morrios who are area level fighters you ****ing nuts.

It might be fair to say "in a few years Crolla could beat Burns" but to say he beats him right now is just dumb.

i can defo see Crolla potentially beating Burns in the future.

If Crolla continues to develop within the next 2-3 years a fight between him and Ricky at Lightweight would be intresting. I am not doubting his class but your over rating him and under rating Ricky.
