What part of his career has indicated that he would quit on his stool when things get tough?

Can you back this up with proof where he has shown lack of heart? The one reason you could use went out of the window when he signed the fight.

This is what I hate about haters, you ****ing ******s actually make things up to suit your own little hateful minds. When has david haye ever showed signs of quitting? Are you really that stupid? A man with that air of confidence within himself WILL NOT quit. David Haye has knocked out every person he has faced bar two people. I think everybody is just so obsessed with hating him, y'all forgot that he can actually box, move and hit pretty ****ing hard. And I love that people complain about him like this too, Haye admits to having a suspect chin himself, he doesn't shy away from that, and he still goes after the heavyweights and still fought hard hitters at cruiserweight, most of you little ****ing *****'s will never box in your life, let alone get in the ring with a man you know could knock you out with a single punch. Jesus christ.

This is why the sport of boxing is "Dying" One because of the way its marketed and the channels its put on, its no longer put on major channels like the BBC and such, and the other thing is... an entire generation of ****ing stupid, ******ed, so called ****ing fans of boxing, who all hate and criticize without any real knowledge of any situation.

I agree, which is why I think he will be forced to be more active. This may prove to be a contributing factor to him losing, because I don’t think he is built for 12 rounds, whereas Wladimir is.

I’d actually advise Haye not to go all out for an early stoppage, unless he sees Wladimir seriously hurt. Because what will he do if he exerts all of his energy and has failed to get him out of there? He’ll be in deep **** for the remaining 6 or so rounds.

Instead, I think he should make sure his conditioning is the best it’s ever been, and be extremely economical in applying an ambush type strategy. His quick, powerful burst of combinations may be more appealing than Wlad’s boring jabs and straight rights, and score him valuable points. And if he’s fortunate enough, he may even hurt Wlad with them.

I, personally, am giving Haye a great shot at causing an upset.

I appreciate the fun of getting back at Haye haters. But you should know that in cases of many injuries light training is recommended. I am not a doctor or a physiotherapeut, I just like to point out that the photo might mean **** for the discussion.

I never said he has a history of quitting. I said he has a history of bullshitting. I was merely answering the question in the opening thread, and taking a dig at Haye in the process. That's all.

It's also known he only posed for this, he wasn't actually playing.
The "I'm still injured" thing towards Chisora was total crap though.
I also don't believe he will quit, but you're trowing it over the edge though.

Most of the Haye "hate" is because of the hype he got for a) himself and b) his fans by mostly overrating his abilities and accomplishments, so you can expect a just as exaggerated counterreaction.
His punchingpower for one thing. It certainly is big, but the one punch goodnight thing has never been proven, certainly not in the HW division and as pointed out almost all of his 23 (T)KO victims (out of 26 fights, so all but 3) were already knocked out early (a lot multiple times) by a mediocre opponent pryor to facing Haye. And I still haven't seen one vid against anyone where Haye removed anybody from his sences with one punch.
If you would put someone like Solis against Haye's opponents up 'till now, he would look like a monster also, Briggs would probably end a few of their careers.

Don't get me wrong, the guy certainly has power, no doubt about that. But don't exxagerate it, and look at it in the proper perspective.

    That's pretty hypothetical.

Like, what will Wlad do when Haye knocks him out with his first big shot?

    Bollocks.

Read the whole article......which was written by a LOCAL REPORTER WHO WAS THERE.

It says he played a round of golf.

    It gives his tee time.

Don't beleive all the K2 propoganda, mate.

What's this based on, other than the fact that you dislike loud, cocky, black guys, and try and drum up hate about them.

Haye's been stopped once in his career, and went down punching

Vitali's the guy who quits on his stool

It definatly wont be half as exciting as Haye will say its going to be.

It will be a letdown like all Hayes other PPVs. It will be boring and Haye will scared to engage.

This is what we DO know. Bank it.

What planet do you live on

Valuev has the best chin in the division. Probably one of the best chins ever.

    Wlad can't take a shot.

He'll be on the canvas the minute Haye connects

    Come on Robney

Most of the hate is the fact that America hates loud black guys, who don't know their place in society.

Is it just a coincidence that most guys who hate Mayweather, also hate Haye?

    Has Mayweather never achieved anything?

    Haye's a 2 division world champion.

What's more, he's rocked every fighter he's ever faced. Including Valuev

Indeed I don't like loud guys (certainly if they don't back it up).
I don't like Floyd, Haye, Mayorga etc.

But with Mayweather there's no doubt he's an exeptional talent, and has proven that against top class opponents.

Haye however didn't back up his claims up 'till now, while his fans keep saying he did. Your "2 division champ" comment is exactly what I mean with that. To accomplish that he beat Mormeck, that British/Italian dude who gets mauled everytime he fights a puncher, and Valuev. That's good, but it isn't great by any stretch.
