Who's legacy is greater ODLH or PBF?

    One guy who has fought maybe the greatest fighters of his era in 5 different weight classes. Fought EVERYONE who called him out. DUCKED NO ONE! He may have suffered some defeats going up against some the great warriors he fought, but he always earned their respect. He probably has the biggest set of balls in boxing (no homo).

    ODLH lost too many of those big fights, so for this reason, PBF ranks higher.

    This was my initial thought as well but on the other hand shouldnt we give credit for atleast taking on all those guys, who else has that kind of resume. I really doubt floyd would be undefeated against the opposition that Oscar faced throughout his career. I do rank mayweather higher as well by the way.

    I got Mayweather ahead.

    Losing to Mayweather in a head-to-head match-up does not help Oscar either. Especially given the size/weight disparity between the two on fight night.

    Pretty sure Floyd's would've been erased had he fought Trinidad, Quartey, Sturm, Whitaker, Chavez, Hops, etc.

    DLH has more losses but that's because his competition craps all over Floyds.

    DLH also accomplished more.

    That's true. Oscar lost as many times as he did, because he faced ridiculously good competition at their primes.

    He was a 154 pound title holder, and outweighed Mayweather by a solid 10-15 pounds on fight night in Mayweather's first fight at that weight class.

    Everyone always says Oscar lost his biggest fights,But thats not the whole truth because its very arguable that he beat Sugar Shane Mosley in the 2nd fight and he Beat Felix Trinidad.

    I hear people on ESB say that all the time.

    He definatley beat Felix Trinidad. With Shane I kind of Waffle because I like both fighters, but yeah I say he should have got the SD.

    ODLH.

    Champ in 6 weight classes, Olympic Gold Medalist (compared to Mayweather's bronze) has the higher PPV numbers (he basically created Mayweather and Pacquiao to superstardom), fought the best.

    I have a tendency of forgetting how good Oscar was in his day, and how well he did in those fights.
