I could see a prime Morales giving a pre prime Floyd hell in sparring at a lower weight. Sounds perfectly possible to me.

    You really are "slow."

Again, the fights with Pacquiao were at "super featherweight." The fight with Raheem was at "lightweight." How was Morales "weight drained" if he moved UP a weight class to fight Raheem?

The only one dismissing any facts here, is you. Like I said, just admit it: You do not know what the hell you are talking about. For example, you do not even recognize the fact that the 2nd and 3rd Pacquiao fights happened AFTER his fight with Raheem. That's why all the talk about him "struggling with weight." He was coming back down from 135 and was having issues. It (struggling to make weight) had absolutely NOTHING to do with his fight against Raheem.

Its possible Morales could have sparred Mayweather. The fact is Morales said he had never been in a ring with a slick fighter when he faced Raheem and you see what happened then.

"Morales had a difficult time just getting into the ring. Although the fight was in the 135-pound division, the contract called for both men to weigh 134. Morales was 134 1/4 when he first stepped on the scale at Friday's weigh-in. He soon returned, having shed the quarter of a pound.
But he never looked comfortable in the ring with the added weight. Gone was the energy and punching power that have long been his trademarks."

Catchweight not a full 135lb lightweight fight, and he couldn't make the 134 at the first time of asking? this relates right back to what I orginally said about the Morales of the Raheem fight not being the best Morales and the one who likely sparred with Floyd was probably much better.

You have a reading comprehension problem.

"But he never looked comfortable in the ring with the added weight."

That does not mean he had trouble making the weight. That means he did not look comfortable with the EXTRA weight he had on. In other words, he looked "sluggish" with the "extra weight."

He didn't fail to make weight. Like I said, you have a reading comprehension problem. Failing to make weight, would be if he came back down and STILL couldn't make 134. He did make the weight, and the fight went on.

Again: How does MOVING UP A WEIGHT CLASS, weight drain a fighter? You are avoiding the issue here because you got caught making an idiotic statement.

You have a serious comprehension problem.
