Has Haye ever been involved in a really exciting fight?

I am a Haye fan (sort of), but if the casuals are expecting his fight with a Klitcshko to be like Ali v Frazier, they will be sorely dissapointed.

Has Haye ever been involved in anything close to resembling a classic?

Haye v Thompson was good for all the wrong reasons
Haye v Fragomeni was intresting just because Haye had a cut & it was intreguing to see how he would respond
Haye v Mormeck was probably the most entertaining due to the knock downs but that's about it.

Barrett & Ruiz were just Haye beating on old man so you can discount them. Valued was boring as hell, & Enzo/Audley were overmatched chumps.

I imagine Haye v Vlad will go the same way the Harisson fight went. Lots of posturing, very little action & the fight will probably be over once either of them land the first meaningful combinantion.

I can't say I'm looking forward to this fight at all..

:deal I agree. And im really arsed in the slightest because i know for a fact that this fight will be an epic letdown. Nobody will throw a shot until the 7th. All David Haye PPVs are much ado about nothing

The Fragomeni and Mormeck fights were both exciting fights, both put up a scrap and it wasn't just Haye wailing on them until they dropped.

The build up will be fun but the in ring action will stink... Oh well, at least they are fighting I guess..

Groves v Degale is a far more exciting fight if you ask me.

Valuev fight was terrible and don't forget the Audley farce.

Haye talks a lot about exciting fights but the last blockbuster fight he really delivered was the Mormeck fight. Back and forth battle, drama and excitement.

Apart from that, in his recent HW campaign? Two of the worst fights in HW history (Valuev and Harrison) and beating up a bunch of near 40 year old nobodies. That may be good for Haye's bank account but that's not exciting at all.

You didn't think Haye-Barrett was even minutely exciting?

    Oh well, takes all sorts.
