Klitschko-Haye: An absurd mismatch and hype job

Thanks Check...it's amazing to me that this fight is finally signed and people still find something to complain about. So what even if it IS a mismatch? What were Wlad's last five or six fights (or beyond)? Pretty much anyone that steps into the ring with Wlad is taking part in a mismatch - the guy is around 6'6", 245 lbs while the average heavywieght is MUCH smaller than that. At least Haye is 6'3" (taller than Adamek, Chambers and Chagaev) with a solid amateur pedigree.

I don't see how Haye is a horrible choice of opponent compared to ANYONE else Wladimir could have chosen - Adamek is even smaller and doesn't have a large fanbase outside of Poland (and besides Adamek should get a shot at Wlad or Vitali in September), Chambers has already lost to Wladimir, Chagaev has already lost to Wladimir, Solis is fighting Vitali next weekend, Arreola already lost to Vitali...it's not like there are a lot of other contendors out there that can give Wladimir a fight. Even if it turns out that David can't give him a fight, either, who can? I don't understand the disappointment and sudden claim of a "mismatch" when Wladimir has been fighting mismatches for the last six or seven years and there's no one that he's ducking to make the fight with Haye (and don't even say Chisora...please...)

 

The fact is that Haye is the best opponent out there for Wlad. Theres no doubt Wlads the favourite, you would have to be a fool to think otherwise. But you would have to be more of a fool to suggest that Haye, Silver Medal Amature World championships, Undisputed CW champion, WBA Heaveywight Champion with 23 KOs in 25 fights, has no chance at all in a fight against Wlad, a very good fighter but has a big weakness.

These Wlad fans, who come on here and say he has no chance what so ever, its a miss match, obviously havent got a clue about boxing. As you know in HW boxing anything can happen with the size and weight of the fighters, one punch can change a fight regardless of how good your chin is. Wlad however has got a poor chin at best and his 15 knockdowns in his career proves that, Hayes chin is not the best either but he can bang with the best of them, and if he does catch Wlad flush then who knows.

This fight is 60/40 Wlad, No Missmatch

 

I never thought Wlad was 'ducking' Chisora with either of the pull-outs, but after all the abuse idiot Klit fans have been giving Haye, it's a pretty big stick to fight back with.

As for the original topic, if Wlad-Haye is a mismatch, what the **** is Wlad-Chisora? The guy has 14 fights behind him and has never seen the 10th round. Didn't see many 'Klitschko-Chisora: An absurd mismatch and hype job' threads coming from the Klit side then, did we?

 

I agree this is just a hype job. I don't see Haye doing anything spectacular. Having a puncher's chance is not exactly what I'd call a great matchup. Haye has no more than a puncher's chance.

More of the usual kiddie name calling and little kiddie cartoons from the kiddies that trash up these dumbed down boxing forums, but I don't see anyone challenging me on any of the rounds that I scored above re Haye's phony win over Valuev resulting in his phoney championship belt resulting in this hyped up fight, assuming Haye actually shows up for it, which i tend to doubt, and even if he does I expect some silliness from him and his handlers.

Where are the score cards of those two judges that scored the fight 116-112 for Haye?

Also, no comments on the recent Haye charade with his buddy Harrison and the so-called investigation into the same.

But I gotta admit they're good at calling names and posting little cartoon heads slapping themselves and starting idiotic threads every five minutes.

 

Actual evidence for that alleged injury? Actual evidence for him allegedly hurting his back the first time he ducked out of fighting K.

None.

 

Of course it was, and mericifully it appears that it's not even going to happen. But the difference is that pretty much no one thought that it was even legit, with the exception of the most rabid K-haters on here, as opposed to the hysterical hyping of the Klitschko-Haye fight.

 

So then will you bet with me and give me 6-4 odds?

Wlad proved that he can take a punch in the first Peter fight, and since then his defense has become so great that I believe he has never even lost a round, and I don't know if he's even been hit, or even had his hair mussed! And big KO punchers he's fought since then? How about Rahman?
