Why would you say Mayorga is going to win?

That was Mosley coming off a long layoff, he didn't work the body, and didn't put his punches together until the last few rounds. And when it breaks down, Mosley is more of a high speed brawler-type rather than a textbook boxer. Cotto is going to be disciplined in breaking down Mayorga. It'll likely be DLH vs Mayorga all over again.

That said, if Mayorga is going to win, the only way he does so is to go balls out early and try to land something big.

It doesnt make sense for cotto to lose this fight, everything pointing towards a cotto win.
    -cotto is the better boxer
    - he is smarter then before
    -steward in his corner
    - has a right hand added to his game
    - looked good vs foreman
    - mayorga is fighting at a weight he hasnt made in a long time
    - mayorga hasnt knocked anyone worth mentioning since forrest

Mayorga is all talk cotto will play it safe untill mayorga is done then finish him of easy win.Thats how its supposed to go. Even Pac who is way faster, accurate and way better then mayorga took a long time to end the fight when he had him down early. If mayorga has him down thats one thing but stopping him is way more difficult. I really cant see it happening.
    Cotto gana Mañana!

    This is why mayorga wins:

-Cotto is a sucker for the overhand right
    -Cotto is damaged goods
-On top of being damaged goods, he never had a good chin
-Cotto when in trouble bitches up and throws low blows, this to me is being mentally weak
-Mayorga already won the mental game, I mean Cotto didnt even do the face off lolz

Yeah I never had respect for Cotto. Ever since that disgrace that was the chop chop/cotto fight I knew it was only a matter of time. At this stage in his career he does not want a fight like this, it is a complete lose/lose. And lets not forget, mayorga put up a good show with mosley. No reason to think the mayorga that showed up for oscar will show up for Cotto.

And Mayorga isn't damaged goods? Cotto has a weak chin?

Isn't Mayorga the guy who got KTFO by Mosley, DLH, Trinidad etc. It sounds like you think this is 2003 again and Mayorga just KTFO Forrest

Mayogra is street dude. There is no such thing as damaged goods with him. He ****in wrecks his car, gets out like it aint ****, and then still fights. Lets not forget Tito got sat on his ass. Lets not forget he gave mosley a great fight (the same mosley who put out margo mind you). Yeah you mother****ers have no idea what you are talking about. You go off paper, and forget this IS FIGHTING.

Yeah it was fun seeing that Cotto express come to a screeching halt. You fanbois couldnt spot talent if it hit you on the head with a 20 ton weight. At least the guys I back aint little ****ing girls.

Really, it’s the single power shots he throws. Mayorga is tough and likes to get hit to try and make you doubt yourself, so crisp, tight, compact combinations will be the key

Team Cotto believes that they will be able to get inside of the wild, free-swinging punches of Mayorga and while inside, rip off compact combinations on an open target. Steward says, “You don’t want to just stick around in his range and block his punches. You need to get in there with a jab and footwork and, once inside, fire away. I’m confident this will work because Miguel, with his fixed shoulder, really has his power, speed, and timing down with his compact combinations. Miguel is starting to remind me more of a young Wilfredo Gomez

    Stewart sounds super excited lol

Coto should win. However Mayorga is a live underdog. Either way I'm not sure this fight sees the final bell. It will either be a mid to late round stoppage for Cotto or a late round stoppage for Mayorga.

:deal Same here. Don't think he's gonna win but I sure got money on his ass. What's $100 when you can win $1000.

He walked in the ring with two legs and was getting his ass beat down before he lost one of em. Quit disregarding Cotto's victory.
