Liston never felt a right hand like Lewis. Lewis would win ko 1-3 whenever he lands the right clean.

 

Lewis and by KO. Liston was good back in his day..but Floyd Patterson was a glass chin waiting to shatter. Cleveland Williams was another glass chin. Many of these old time fighters are very overrated. Lewis wouldnt struggle nearly as much as many think here.

the BIGGEST guy liston fought weighed in at a mostorous 228lbs

the biggest guy rahman fought weighed 266lbs, and like 90% of his opponents were over 228lbs

Throw rahman in with the skinny midgets liston fought and he'd probably have 100% ko's

sonny was definitely defensively better.he had nice upperbody movement,and could block punches.

 

so what.liston at 210 lbs had a lot better chin than 250 lbs lewis and wlad.
also earni shavers at 205 lbs punched a lot harder than a 250 lbs vitali.

Yup. If palookas like McCall and Rahman could take Lewis out early, an ATG like Liston would have no problem.
