Thats the misconception of Ward, looking at his last three fights...Ward was able to swarm his opponents. He beat them by staying in their grill and negating the opposing fighter to get off...With that being said, people tend to forget about how Ward can stick on the outside and use his jab as a pace setter...Ward has very underrated outside\midrange game in which some have seem to forgot about...Ward is also strong himself...How he was able to bully around Miranda shows you how strong Ward is. You left out one little key thing my man...Ward's ring generalship...Ward is a class above the current fighters IMO given that he has an answer for whatever his opponent given him. I guess thats were we differ...IMO I think Ward will imply a game plan that will 1) Keep AA on the end of a jab and that will keep AA at a distance that Ward's comfortable with...2) Ward will tie up if he feels AA will get off or catch him with a shot that might hurt him...Also, Ward will not make the same mistakes Dirrell made in those championship rounds. :good Respect homie..at least you've given a logical reason as to why you're backing AA. Nothing wrong with that given that you have reasoning behind instead of these ****boys in here.
hey rudyard, why don't you show everyone your breakdown for the dawson-pascal and martinez-williams 2 fights? wned:vonnecuntwned:vonnecuntwned:vonnecuntwned:vonnecuntwned
Hey!! I just read this and have to say, this thing, this RUMOR circulating from specific European haters that Ward is a dirty fighter is bS! Plain and simple. Often these same no boxing understanding folk complain about Ward using his head. Hopkins gets the same RUMOR, and as I recall, some fools even accused Pernell of this. This is boxing, where you should, Protect Yourself At ALL Times, and different fighters with different styles will sometimes clash heads, unintentionally. I emphasize UNINTENTIONAL, because to my knowledge Ward has received no or very few warnings for using his head, nor has Bernard Hopkins. In Hopkins case, after decades of boxing with zero warnings. Yet the Rumors continue. The RUMOR of Hopkins and Ward somehow managing to be dirty fighters without a history of warning or penalties for dirty fighting suggests these rumors are no more than repetitious inaccuracies intentionally circulated to create, FACTOIDS. FACTOIDS: Untruths that become accepted because of frequent regurgitation with absolutely no basis in reality. The available evidence simply completely refutes it. So guess what? Perhaps you should consider resisting the urge in the future of continuing to propagate inaccurate FACTOIDS. Aye. :smoke
These fighters often avoid warnings because they are American fighters fighting n America, but I have also seen both warned as they are dirty fighters. Zachery Levin praising Ward said Wards head is the third best fist in boxing since Holyfield. Factoids :smoke
On paper Ward outclasses abraham and ends his career but for some reason i see him putting Ward down. As a boxing fan this is the last thing i want even though i have to admit i hate Ward (although i try not to let it cloud my judgement) as it will leave Froch-Abraham II which no one is going to tune in for. I just see Abraham as a very proud man and see him throwing bombs when his terrible stamina allows him, when Ward goes to tie up i think Abraham might be able to land one of his bricks on Wards chin late on in the fight when Ward isnt expecting it. Hes always going to have a punchers chance
ehhh..I wouldn't put my money on a lucky punch. Sort of like playing the lottery. Ward is more disciplined and technically solid then anyone AA has ever faced, with the exception of Direll, who I see as a younger, slicker, less physical version of Ward. Ward won't make the same mistake as Dirrell, and has great endurance. I see AA running in, getting caught and going down. If Dirrell could put AA down, I'm sure Ward can too. :yep
After the last Arthur outting, I'd sure like to see Abraham redeem himself by laying Ward out, but kinda doubt it'll happen.
Before the Froch fight, I would pick Ward by wide UD. After watching the Froch fight, I'm picking Ward by late stoppage. Ward has not much power, but the accumulation punch may well make Abraham quit on his stool, or make him bleed and force doctor stoppage. I don't think Ward will work from the outside like Dirrell and Froch did. He will work by the inside. Yes, AA has no inside game and he's very vulnerable in the inside. The constant inside work of Ward will confuse AA so much that he will be humiliated and will quit on his stool. In fact, I would be surprised if AA manages to lose without being stopped by Ward.
