Apart from his glass heart and chin, was Golota 100% going into the Lewis fight?

I have read rumours from certain posters on here that Golota had a reaction to an injection and was pretty much dead in the ring against Lewis. 'Coincidentally' these posters are the same ones who like talk about the impurity of black boxers and posters :blood

Now, to me these seem like poor excuses from ignorant men wanting to perpetuate the myth of the superior Aryan human. Golota knew he was in the ring with a man cut from a finer cloth than himself, and in typical Golota fashion his glass heart and chin smashed without resistence.

You can make excuses all you want, but Golota and his fan just happened to meet their Jesse Owens that night.

So do you buy these excuses from the Golota, or were they just lies to keep Golota in big money fights despite his humiliation at the hands of Lewis?

    Please vote

P.S - NO POSTING LINKS in this thread. Just reposting Golota's lies from sources which are reporting them does not make them true - They're just reporting what they're told.

    It was this.

Lewis literally raped him in the ring... he just bent Golota over and made him his *****.

    It was hilarious.

Complete meltdowns in two previous fights.
Of course he wasn't at his best.

Having a glass heart and having a glass brain are two very different things. Just like the difference between a glass jaw and a glass ****.

He underperformed, as usually in big fights.

Gołota, subsequently claimed that an injection of lidocaine for tendonitis in his right knee given to him by his physician shortly before the fight made him woozy and impaired his vision. As a result, he filed a medical malpractice suit against his physician, claiming that the injection had cost him the fight and a deal with HBO for $21 million to broadcast his next four to five fights.

Golota was a slow starter, but not that slow. It was clear he was not right when he made his way to the ring. It was over before it even started, and everyone saw it.

It is quite well known, and was widely covered by the Polish media at the time of the fight that he did in fact have an injection prior to the fight.

There should be a 'Who cares?' option on this poll.

Yes he had a bad reaction to lidocaine. Golota's promoter told us. Why would he lie? It was just a coincidence that the bad reaction started when Lewis landed bombs on his Chin. Honest.:rofl:patsch

I'm pretty sure one of his balls is also glass or some kind of porcelain. Or has porcelain veneers or, I don't know. I'm sorry I brought up his balls. I'm sorry.

The heavyweight Andrew Golota has been fined $5,000 by the New Jersey boxing commission for secretly using a painkiller just one and a half hours before his Oct. 4 fight against Lennox Lewis, the state's boxing commissioner, Larry Hazzard, said yesterday.

Golota's trainer, Lou Duva, told Hazzard two days after the fight that Golota had received an injection of the legal drug lidocaine in his right knee, Hazzard said.

New Jersey prohibits the use of all drugs and alcohol before or during a match. Boxers taking medication prescribed by a physician must report it.

Thanks - but I'm quite aware of the rumours, I'm just trying to find out if people believe them or not.
