He's from Australia but sent to me and I live in the US. I think he'll ship anywhere as long as he gets the money.
The best by far for quality on 1940's thru 1990's fights: www.ClassicSportsVideo.net He says that his fights are 'usually the very best quality available', and I agree. You've got to see them to believe. I have used him for over 12 years and every bout is a gem, and he'll tell you honestly what fights aren't gem-quality. Plus he sends sample DVD's with something like an hour's worth of short clips. He is the man, and his service is lightning fast. I receive my dvd's here in the U.S. in a week every time (even when I went to London for two years and asked him for dvd's that would play there, the wait was no more than 2 wks). He's a nice guy and knows his boxing, if you ask him. He claims to get much of his inventory from TV networks and such, and I believe him; it's that good. His site says he's been recording fights since 1979, and the 1979 fights I've got from him (some on Matthew Saad Muhammad, Ray Leonard, Marvin Johnson, and Victor Galindez) look like it; like new. I've bought fights from at least 40 other sellers since around 1988 to this day, and nobody comes close on his quality for heavyweights like Ali, Foreman, Liston, Louis, Holmes, Tyson, Norton, Frazier, Dokes, Coetzee, Page & lighter weights such as Spinks, Mustafa Muhammad, Qawi, Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Palomino, Little Red Lopez, Mugabi, and Pryor. And Latin fighters like Monzon, Arguello, Duran, Galindez, Sanchez, and Gomez. Europeans like Boza-Edwards, McGuigan, and Bruno, three of my favorites. He has almost nothing on Far-East fighters though. Recently, I finally got the two Leonard-Hearns fights and the three Duran-Leonard fights from him, after getting all of his Muhammad Ali, Carlos Monzon, Cornelius Boza-Edwards, John Mugabi, and Alexis Arguello bouts. And the other Duran fights. They all look like they were recorded today, every one. They look amazing for 40 and 30 year-old fights. Each better than anyone else's demo clips that I've seen. Can't say anything bad about him. BUT here is the rub: You will pay for it. He sells for $85.00 to $135.00 for two-hour DVD's, depending on what fights you buy. Ouch! One other thing: he won't make you just one short fight that you need, you have to order at least a full two hour dvd as a minimum. If you can deal with that, then he's the best, hands down. Honest, reliable, fast service, best quality. And he's got a lot of rare fights that nobody else has. I'm not saying there aren't a few other good collectors to buy from, but I seem to have gotten junk from every one of them at one point or another. Just never with this guy.
To be honest, I've only brought Pep, Jeffries, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Joe Louis, Armstrong and Duran off the guy pretty recently and havent had time to watch them all yet. From what I've seen of the Pep and Armstrong (and 2 fights of Moore), they haven't had ring walks on them, but that's to be expected from the older boxers I suppose. Quality is very good indeed, and it took only 2 weeks to receive about 40 odd discs which is very quick
I probably should have added that it is am English based site, and all prices are in £ despite the $ symbol
