I agree. Unless you are a special boxer, you are criticised heavily on here and it could make some boxers doubt their abilities.

 

Dont know, look at Bellew/Gavin, they get a few assholes but generally speaking, they'll get constructive criticism and people genuinely care for them and their career.

It helps that they are sound mind you

Those guys are popular but still people land pretty petty points, like about Bellew having difficulty in a couple of bouts and leaving Farnell, Gavin not being in shape (despite making the weight and having no obvious problems in his fights).

Some of the stuff said to curtis woodhouse was pretty cruel despite him being a sound guy.

I know there are alot of good posters, but still I don't think most boxers think it is worth wading through all the other stuff.

Not so much of a defence as an explanation grant. Most boxers take unwarranted **** on here not just smith, but some of the **** he took was out if order. Applied to bellew too when ge made a decision about his own career to move.
