Mayorga will give Cotto a free shot and just laugh at him like he did Vernon/Tito. Remember Tito needed 7-8 rounds and connected so many big shots to even slow down Mayo but couldn't put him away first 5 rounds. Cotto's punches are like slaps compared to Tito.

 

Exactly. He beat him and if he can beat a better quality opponent that is better than Cotto, then I'm sure he can beat Cotto so that puts your mismatch opinion out the window.

 

Is a mismatch, regardless of what you think. Cotto is far better than Mayorga right now, if the Mayorga who fought Forrest was there then I would've picked Mayorga. But Mayorga is nowhere near that level, and he'll get stopped.
