Round 9

Zappa comes forward and lands a hard hook/right combo to the face. Vazquez isn't getting away quickly enough. Zappa throws a wild hook, sweeping out a few feet to his left before zeroing in on the target. Needless to say, he misses...and nearly falls on his ass. Vazquez grabs as Zappa keeps coming. Zappa is now working a jab high and low on his way in. Vazquez still lands his longer jab a bit more easily but is throwing less of them as Zappa keeps closing in. Zappa takes a jab to the face and tries to land a 1-2 to the body but just misses. Vazquez jabs and grabs. Zappa threatens with a hook and then pulls it back as Vazquez strafes off to his left. Zappa starts loading up on big lead right hands and going back and forth between then and his wild hooks. Vazquez is caught with only glancing leather as he continues to slip well at medium range but isn't throwing much back.

Round 10

Vazquez is jumping to either side with both feet, and then twisting his body away when he lands as Zappa rushes in and tries to square up to hit him. Vazquez is still landing mostly jabs on the outside while moving. Zappa is trying to rip his head off with a huge left hook upstairs, or tap him on the back in the clinches when he gets close enough to make Vazquez initiate one. Vazquez lands a jab and then drifts out of the way with his upper body leaned off diagonally back and to the right while a confused Zappa punches the empty air in front of himself. Zappa throws several jabs coming forward and forces Vazquez to grab, and then hooks him in the face during the clinch. Vazquez is flurrying wildly from the outside now, just slapping to keep Zappa away. Zappa has a very bloody face.
