Thin or not he isn't knocking out Vitali and isn't winning a decision either .

The man is 6 1 , at a push he should weight no more than about 220. At 242 he is a punch bag. Doesnt come out for the 6th.

So his head will be a slightly smaller speedbag...

If he really is 242 he still is grossly overweight, I even expect him to come in even slimmer but it wouldn't help him much.

solis to be in shape he would have to get down to at least 220lbs. he is like arreola, and we will never see him in top shape.

i dont get it, either. its the guys job and profession to be in shape and fight his best, yet he cant even do that. he is being paid millions to get into the ring with these huge men and fight for titles yet doesnt even care enough to get into proper shape.

It'd be much better for Solis' stamina if he didn't lose all the excess weight in a few short weeks. If he had a proper conditioning coach and dietitian all this could have been worked on over the last 12-24 months. Not just in the final 6 weeks before fight night.

a good friend of mine is very close to Solis team,i have been told that we are gonna be surprise how good Solis is looking. He is very confident of delivering a great performance.I know there are a lot of haters around here-some because of fear,i know.Still,Vitali is the favorite to win,no doubt. But La sombra could surprise more than one.

Pics are at different angles and Solis's head is looking up more in the 2nd pic, but yes I do think that Solis has lost some weight. Really hard to tell how much though, especially with the baggy clothes. Good for him...it won't change the outcome of the fight, but good for him.

This will be a much more competitive fight than many expect.

Yeah, I don't think Solis will be a total punching bag and I do think he'll have a few good moments, but I think his slow footwork, lack of output and questionable stamina will mean that Vitali will end up knocking him around pretty badly.

I think an accumulation stoppage for Vitali around 8-10 or so.
