Maybe he won just one maybe two rounds at most and got outboxed, taken apart and chopped down in the process, Sergiy looked sharp and mentally tough nontheless, opened up, took more chances than a defensive textbook boxer would, landed a fair share of crisp punches and there was no giving up, beautiful comeback after two knockdowns. Why do texbook boxers get so little air time on HBO these days? Sergiy can comfortably outbox any LMW and give most MWs a run for their money, question is if HBO will but him back on? I hope. Can't wait to see the Razor again, how about an Angulo or PWilliams showdown?
No man. Razor landed more than Pavlik and looked more solid than Williams in 2 fights. The amazing shots that put him down overshadow that despite being largely outboxed and outfoxed, he still was able to find success, good amount. I'm always impressed fighters coming back from knockdowns and that's what Sergiy did. Did he look bad? No man, Martinez looked good. Dzin is still a superb boxer. He just lost quite possibly to the best fighter on the planet and that shouldn't disqualify him from future fights.
He will still be hard to beat at 154..but I dont like how he dealt with getting hurt..Me thinks he wont come back the same.
He should leave the 160 division and never return again But overall i was impressed at his mental attitude, people gave been criticising boxing over the last few years because fighters are becoming more and more "*****" Then when we do get mentally tough but limited fighters, people simply criticise them Dzin should cause trouble at 154 again, hopefully we get to see him at his best there
He's a little too robotic for my taste. He just doesn't fight with enough urgency and that's exactly what he needed if he wanted to pull a rabbit out of a hat and pull off the upset.
I think Dzinziruk was beggining to land easily on Martinez in the 6 and 7 surprisingly. Martinez needed to do something quick and he did and that's what true champions do...
