Yeah, it's not an unreasonable opinion to have. I've just been hearing a lot of "ifs" after the fight and I'm not sure why? "What if Dzin had heavy hands?" "What if the knockout didn't occur?" I hope this isn't a trend that is going to happen with every upcoming big fight.

    Forget it, anyway.

    Addie,

Make no mistake-- the better fighter won last night. I sincerely believe that Dzin is world class. Unfortunately, Sergio is operating on an otherwordly level at the moment.

Oh please. "awe inspiring"? It was a good win and an excellent performance, but using verbiage like that seems way over the top.

Yeah, Dzin can secure a good fight at 154lbs but knowing HBO, Dzin is going into obscurity. For some reason HBO doesn't like European fighters and are only brought to the US to lose, if incase they win ala Pirog, they get canned fast! Dzin could of fought several 154lbs a while back, even Martinez at 154lbs years back, but HBO doesn't seem to want to televise him. HBO prefers this Berto fraud guy or the other boring guy that fought Ponce De Leon not to long ago. Martinez too was fed to the lions and was suppose to lose his fights against Pavlik and Williams but it backfired on HBO. Same thing that happened to Maidana with Ortiz, Maidana was brought to lose and became a star! But HBO won't ge the point, that the fans don't care what country you are from, as long as you are good, you will be followed!

He definitely did beat Dzinziruk down. Don't let HBO fool you into thinking Dzinziruk really had a chance though. He was an undefeated 154 pounder, who's best opponents were Daniel Santos, and Joel Julio. Having 37 fights under your belt, and Santos and Julio are your best opponents, tells you something, somebody is not that good. His jab is also over rated.

no doubt, sergio gets all the props from me for KO Paul Williams, but fighting a 154lber for the 160 pound belt is kinda unfair, of course he was supposed to win. Unfortunately for sergio there is no great fights for him anymore at 154 or 160. cotto is good but he is a welter anyway not a jr middle.

dzinziruk is no bum he isnt elite just a godo euro fighter with a good jab. Most people thought it would be a technical fight where martinez wins. instead martinez outjabs him and ****s him up.

he'll get good money to fight the two German champions.

He says he wants Pacquiao, well he be better be prepared to come down to 150 for that fight.

IDK about easy bro, I just think he makes it look easy, alot like how Roy Jones used to do it in the 90's. I don't want to overrate Dzinziruk or underrate him either, but even if he wasn't on the same level as Martinez being the taller guy and a technical fighter at that I expected it to go the distance and it looked that way and then Razor a fighter that's never been down in all his life is being dropped 5 times! That was crazy. A magnificent performance by an old dog that never stops learning new tricks. Is it just me or is Sergio actually becoming better since the Williams fight? :think

Not sure. I never knew he could jab like that.

What impresses me the most is his ring IQ for someone who started boxing so late. He's smarter than most of the pros that have been boxing ever since childhood.
