Just watched fight. Good fight but Lee really needs to sort out his defence. he stands too straight up and is a puddin for the overhand right. I thought he made work of it but got the win. I had him 1 up going into the last round so I thought he would have knicked it had it gone to the cards. A rematch with Vera would be the best option for him now before moving onto a world title shot.

    I think it's

    1) rematch McEwan to work out the kinks and try to put together a solid start-to-finish performance without the lapses.

    2) rematch Vera once he's successfully done that, and build on that consistency.

    3) step up to the higher level.

If McEwan hadn't tired so badly I think he would have ended Lee.

Good fight. Going for Lee, McEwan dominating and about to pull the upset, and Lee pulled the miracle. Lee needs to fight behind the jab and if he can't fight on the inside or vs faster fighters like McEwan needs to throw more uppercuts and bodyshots to slowem down. 1 or 2 punches at a time is not going to cut it. Great learning experience for both. McEwan made a fan out of me.
