Na if Mosley was clinching Margo all night neutralizing Margarito Cotto can do the same. I think Cotto will be on fire that night, focused, and a beast we haven't seen since his 140lb days. Cotto will probably use less flashy combos like he did in the first fight and he'll trade more with bodyshots and cut open Margarito upstairs. Margarito is there to be found for Cotto boxing Margarito won't work. You either outhustle him at his own game like Williams or you stop him or knockhim out like Mosley did. Santos stopped him on cuts, but those 2 fights were to close to call. Cotto by TKO.

Margarito will have brain damage at some point in his life purely based on the Pacquiao fight. Cotto beats Margarito, he's fresher and the fight would not involve Marg using dirty tactics. Cotto UD. :rasta

I just can't call it at this very moment. I want to say Cotto by decision, but I could still see Margarito breaking him down late. I am of the opinion that Margarcheato wore the infamous wraps against Cotto, but of course I could be wrong. I am leaning towards Cotto. This is a fight that I would love to see. Even though I feel Margarito shouldn't even be fighting, but since he is, sign it and get it on!

    Ah man.

Everyone on here know I love Cotto, but I must say that I did NOT see a BIG improvement in Cotto. Yes hes standing up taller and yes he has better footwork, but he is the same Cotto. Cotto int hat fight wasn't the same Cotto that he was pre-Margarito.

I believe Cotto could win a VERY close decision, but I see the advantage/victory to Margarito.

Margarito showed me alot in that Pacman fight. This kid comes to fight. Knock him out or get knocked out. Cotto ain't no Pacman.

    Anyways WAR COTTO!

I voted for Ko/TKO because that's what I wanted to happen. If you put a gun on my head though, I would say Margo by TKO.

I think one flush punch to the jaw from Margarito will have Cotto in retreat mode again. If Cotto doesn't gas, he takes a close decision. I just think Margarito will land and end the fight much like the first fight.

I think Cotto has far greater ability than Margarito, I like him much more than I like Margarito, but if they fight I'm going to have to go for Margo. Even though he took a hellacious beating from Pacman, I still think Margo looked to have the aggression, output, chin and good mix of bodyshots and uppercuts that he had in his heyday. It was just the insane speed and skill of Pacquiao that made that fight so one-sided. I think Margo is a bad match-up for Cotto, and I think he'd grind it out.

But I don't think a plaster-free Margarito can stop a warrior like Cotto. Margo by MD or SD in a thriller, with both men looking like Elephant Men at the final bell.
