Look guys this isn't a bash Margarito thread. This is my opinions. This has nothing to do with "loaded" or "non loaded" gloves. I respond to it because people are accusing me of throwing in my own hidden agenda. When its clearly not. This has completely unraveled because a few sensitive boxing fans feel I'm out to discredit Margo. I don't need to do that, he has done that on his own.

This was simply a post on how I felt it was disgraceful that Arum brought up Margo in Cotto's moment. It was shameless, and I didn't appreciate it at all. That was the point of the post.

Where is Larry Holmes when you need him ? Cosell tried that years ago bringing Gerry Cooney over while Cosell was doing post fight interview with Holmes. Cooney almost got ***** slapped and Cosell lost his wig.I agree that it was Cotto`s time in the spotlight and Margacheato had no business there at all.

Thats fair enough actually, I probably went overboard with my earlier post.

Nonetheless, we clearly disagree over the cheating issues.

I wasn't surprised in the least. It's a known fact that Arum has always liked Margarito far more than Cotto and dislikes Cotto in a very peculiar way. You only have to look at the history to see that:

    1) After Cotto-Margarito happened and SSM KO'ed Marg and the whole handwrap situation was revealed, naturally people thought, well how long has he been doing it and did he do it vs. Cotto? When Cotto made a remark that he believed that Margarito used them against him and that he should be punished for it, Arum said "Well, he's entitled to his opinion". Arum dismissed Cotto his supposed "#2 fighter* and #3 big draw in the sport" as if he was just a guy who should keep his opinions to himself

    2) Arum then went on a major crusade to defend Margarito and acted like it was some big conspiracy. "They are only doing this because he is a Mexican. It's racism against Mexicans! This is bull****!" All the while, his star fighter Cotto is on the sideline wondering "WTF?"

    3) Margarito is suspended for the year after having Arum's own paid lawyers try to defend him. Arum then does whatever he can to get him a license.

    4) Cotto fights Clottey, gets major gash on his head, wins a SD. He gets thrown into the Pac fight while healing the cut and Arum works with Roach to get the catchweight. Cotto doesn't believe it should be for the WBO title if it's at a catchweight but Arum demands that he put it on the line or else the WBO will strip him. Also, Cotto can't have the Pacquaio fight unless he signs an extension with Arum.

    5) Margarito comes back and gets a tune up fight. Then he gets a big payday fight with Pacquaio at another catchweight bout. Margarito kept getting chance after chance after chance after chance from Arum (even back when he lost to Paul Williams, when he was so pissed off that he lost, he still gave him another opportunity to get the title shot with Cotto right away). Margarito was given the big payday fight without having earned it and after committing or attempting to commit a crime, while Cotto had to sign an extension with his promoter or else he was not allowed to have the big payday.

    6) Cotto lost to Pac and gets a fight with Yuri Foreman. Arum promoted the entire fight as if Yuri Foreman was Jesus Christ reincarnated. Cotto was completely ignored throughout the entire fight promotion. Arum wanted Yuri to beat Cotto, so he'd get huge Israeli following and the money that came with it. His words "If he wins, he will be HUGE!" Cotto wins and when Arum went into the ring, he gave him a real sour and cold embrace as if to say "You piece of ****, you ****ed everything up".

    7) Cotto wins against Mayorga and tries to enjoy his time with the media when Bob does the obvious and invites Margarito up to speak when he had no business being at the podium. You could see Cotto was annoyed Arum would do that kind of thing, but he should know by now. So when Cotto is finished with the reporters, waves to them and walks back to the locker room and who does he pass by? Margarito who is doing interviews with the media with Arum by his side.

So the conclusion is pretty easy: Arum pretends to like Cotto but really doesn't. He loves Margarito and keeps giving him more chances to get in the spotlight even if he does evil and criminal things.

You're ignorant for letting the past dictate the future. If everybody in the world has you're attitude, Wars would never end, the Berlin wall would of never been knocked down, World War II would of still been going on.

The fact of the matter is Antonio Margarito has did his time, and NOW he is Back. Antonio Margarito is a fighter and Warrier you cannot question that, he proved in his last fight against Manny Pac. That he is a the same man, inside of the ring he has always been.

    Muhammad Ali once said..

"Fighters know when fighters are in shape"

    Well I'm saying..

"Fighters know when fighters can fight"

And Miguel Cotto deep down knows, Antonio Margarito can fight. And comes to fight, anywhere and anytime. In my opinion, Miguel Cotto deep down is afraid of Antonio Margarito, not because of the Hand Wrap issue.

Simply because, Miguel Cotto seen something he had never seen before inside of the ring. "When he faced Antonio Margarito"...

He saw a man, he saw something primal. That would strike fear into the normal everyday man, he saw a man that truly enjoys and loves the fight. Most fighters when they are in wars, lose that game look upon there face. Antonio Margarito keeps that look on his face, and just keeps on coming............

Miguel Cotto hit Antonio Margarito with EVERYTHING. And Antonio Margarito, never lost that look in his eye's. I've seen Lions with this look in their eye's, I've seen a Lion being slowly killed by two other lions. It was very sad to watch, but even when the lion being killed could not stand up. It would still lash out in anger, it would still be fighting for its own life.....not matter how futile the effort.

This scares Miguel Cotto, when he is alone he is afraid. Not of the hand wrap issue, he's afraid of Antonio Margarito.

**** that. Margarito is a cheater, and you'd have to be a total ****ing ball-licking fanboy to try to deny it, because even the worst idiots know it's true.

If you still say Margo didn't cheat, then you would suck his dick on request. It's that simple.

How's that nutsack taste? This has got to be the most ridiculous man-worship post I've ever seen. Plaster blocks dropped out of your man's wraps. Without those wraps he got knocked the **** out by an ancient Mosley and beat all to hell and back by Pac, who showed him mercy not to outright kill him in the ring. Without the wraps, your boy is 0-2, and now Arum is setting the cheater up to go 0-3 and get another payday.

He's had two brutal ass beatings, and beat a tomato can...how exactly is that back? All he's shown is that without the wraps he's not very competitive in terms of on the Elite level. He doesn't have great power, he's not fast, he has no ability to adapt or make adjustments during a fight, he is limted in what punches he can/does throw at opponents, he does have a good chin and he has good stamina. Bottom line, he will always struggle against Elite fighters because he doesn't have the power that fighters who typically fight his style would have.

Lol...If I were Cotto I'd tell him to **** off and wouldn't allow him to make a ****ing cent off me. Tony ain't ****, and hasn't been **** since he stopped cheating. You say Cotto is scared, if he's scared it's that this time dude may bring a pistol to the ring but he's not scared of fighting Tony.
