I think Sergio's style would garner a UD. Froch is too tough 2 get stopped, but who knows...

Are you guys serious? Froch is a legit 168lb fighter and he's not just that he's one of the best and very awkward. Don't get me wrong Sergio is a great fighter but come on to 168 in against Froch right now? I would rather see him test the waters, I'm not sold on him at that weight yet. Let's see how Froch does against Johnson and Ward/AA (probably Ward) and look at Sergio moving up.

How about if AA loses to Ward we see Abraham vs Martinez at a catchweight of 164? AA gets a chance at a big fight where he feels a bit more comfortable back against a smaller guy than the ones he's been facing, Maravilla gets the chance to test the waters a bit further up? I also happen to think it would be a very good fight but perhaps that depends how much Abraham has left due to circumstance.

Abraham,Kessler, Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal... Froch's last 5 resume is probably the best out there. He lost one fight to kessler which was an all out war and could've gone either way.

Prob one of the more underrated fighters out there based on his recent accomplishments in a now marquee division.

Froch is more skilled than you believe.. I'm not a huge fan of Froch, but I got to admit, he's good.. Jermain Taylor was good as well.. He beat Hopkins twice..

some of you just don't learn, every time someone starts a thread about froch agaisnt someone half decent he always loses big according to some, yet time after time he has proved himself. His resume speaks for itself. His kessler defeat could have went the other way but the same could have been said about his dirrell win.

some of you need to calm down. First it was donaire, now martinez.

It's a wonder we haven't had a martinez v khan fantasy thread yet.

Froch is the much bigger fighter and i have to admit hes changed my mind, he is a good fighter in an awkward way... Even though im giving Froch props, i still think Martinez can pull this out, just cant get careless, but he has the superior skills to win this.,, Martinez is that much better despite the size disadvantage.

You all just presume that paul williams was some atg ? and pavlik ? who has martinez beat that is on a par with froch's resume ? oh yea that's right NOBODY.

Martinez is the one getting overrated, froch via wear down style ko and martinez wont be dancing around much after some 168lb body shots.

Same things were said about abraham but he soon changed his plan after taking a few body shots.

Getting sick of the overrating of martinez now, he's just the best of a weak middleweight division that's all.

Martinez is a great fighter don't get me wrong but it's partially due to the competition not being too great.

If Martinez fights a disciplined fight he will make Froch look foolish at times. Martinez just has to fight his fight and he can pull this out. By the way Froch might be riding high and Wiliams is coming off a devastating ko loss, but PFP i think Williams is a better fighter than Froch. Skill wise Froch is on par with Pavlik (maybe a little better).

While I have to agree that Martinez probably doesn't belong at 168, Martinez is still sick. While the middleweight division isn't as competitive as super middleweight right now, there are still plenty of good fighters Martinez can fight and that's what he has been doing.. Besides, middleweight has a lot of good boxers on the rise such as Lemieux, Golovkin, Barker, Pirog, etc.. All in all, I wouldn't say he's overrated.. The dude's got skills..

Froch is a big strong SM, but he can be exposed against an elite smaller fighter.. Just when i was coming around to giving Froch his props, he has become a little overrated.

Martinez said he's too small for the SMW division, I believe him, Froch SD/UD.
