Best pic I've ever seen posted here. I wonder why Pachiles seems to get more trollish under his alt account...

I haven't been following or reading all this but I'm wondering what happened to Sullivan. And who did Dempsey lose to? I think he would fare better than Tyson under these circumstances to be frank.

You might see me as having some bias towards thar old timers, but I would be able to describe the rules that Wladamir Klitschko fights under and give you an accurate summary of his strengths and weakneses as a fighter.

I don't think that you would be able to do that for say John L Sullivan and I don't think that most of the people of the same opinion as you would be able to either.

There is clearly a big gulf between the people arguing for the old timers and the people arguing for the modern fighters in terms of knowledge and that should worry you.

I think the bolded is pure BS, no way are a corner putting their man into be murdered once hes out cold, its not happening not even in the olden days Janny.

Then again an issue with the format is, whenever an opponent is hurt, he can take a knee, over and over again. Theoretically by the rules you could keep taking knees without being punched, getting 10-20mins recovery after being stunned.

If a fighter can take a knee whenever to get a rest, it actually means someone with poor stamina could flurish. Hit his opponent several times, take a knee, rest, repeat, get 3mins rest, go again. Food for thought, this format could be very very boring in practice

As for guys been out for 60seconds there are plenty

You hate Mikey Mike, so why vote on him??

IMO he breaks BOTH his hands in teh 1st 6mins (gets 3 knockdowns), Gasses in 15mins, then gets beaten-up Brutally for the next 30-45mins then collapses. :thumbsup
