Its looking a big ask for either to win but I would expect all 3 lads to put up a good fighting display. Casey with home advantage next week you just never know IF he tag Rigo and stun him maybe there is a slight chance for a upset very slight. Magee v Bute its a case of Magee will need a KO for the win I expect this fight to be close Magee will use his experience but I would expect Bute to win on the cards. McCloskey v Khan you just never know Dudey been waiting a while for a World title shot he will be tricky for Khan as much Khan will be tricky for Dudey. I would love Dudey to do it but I would expect a Khan win on points sadly.
Real talk! Casey is one of my favourite fighters, all action, got some fukin big balls taking on rigondeaux especially after about 12 fights
It was in the Irish thread. I don't have inside info. Someone said he was murdering a lightweight in sparring and Carlos arrived and testified that said lighweight was a quality fighter. Can't remember his name now though.
Daouda Sow. Olympic Lightweight Silver (IIRC) medallist. By all accounts Rigo KTFO inside a couple of rounds of the start of the sparring.
Just put the £30 quid I won off Ricky Burns on Rigondeaux KO/TKO - I'll retire from betting if I lose
The three Lads are fighting not just world champions but arguable the best in their divisions. It any of them are to get a world title they will have earned it the hard way. Logic and reason would say no, but the Irish are a people made up of more than that, full of music and poetry, Art and imagination, things that require a faith, a greater inner wisdom and a knowledge transending time. To the brave and the faithful nothing is impossible. C'mon the Bing Bang:bbb
I like Magee, and am gutted to see him go the Bute route instead of taking on the far more beatable Smigga. McCloskey and Casey are both rightfully huge underdogs as well but don't seem to be in for quite the same kind of beating Magee's doomed to.
good bet Although Casey is tough as nails and Rigo tends to cruise after a while... But then again if Casey keeps coming on to him, as is his typical approach I see Rigo stopping him.
