I agree, Pac is fighting has beens with no chance against him and Mayweather isn't fighting, Maravilla's the king!

I can almost agree. Martinez is willing to take assignments that are disfavorable to him on various levels and the guy performs brilliantly regardless. All factors considered I'd say he has a certain kind of claim.

With Floyds absence and Mannys absence of legitimate opponents, its looking more and more like I want to embrace Maravilla as boxings number one pound for pound.

I want to see Martinez have another sterling against a top fighter, why not someone like Kirkland?

the last fight wasn't disfavorable to him at all. he was the clear favorite.

he fought a smaller guy who was at least 2 levels below him in terms of class. he's supposed to dominate this guy and get him out of there. and that's what he exactly did.

He was supposed to dominate and stop a man that had never been down in his extensive amateur and professional career?

The man never lost a pro fight and really picked people apart with his jab, and Martinez just completely outjabbed him.

He was the favorite, but he was not a favorite to stop Sergyi.

the guy was smaller and had little power especially @160. martinez has KO'd bigger, more powerful opponents compared to this guy. martinez is a top 3 p4p fighter against a guy who isn't even near the top 25 p4p. this fight was all about martinez outclassing his opponent, dominating him and getting him out of there. and that's what he exactly did as a top p4p fighter should.

and you can certainly remain unbeaten if you only fight guys lower in class compared to you. prob is that martinez was at least 2 classes above him as well as being bigger and more powerful than him. the O has finally got to go....

Amir Khan has Kotelnik and Salita in his Resume, he should be p4p number one as well. Cotto stopped Yuri Foreman, he should've been ranked in the p4p top three when that fight happened

Martinez has one good win, one win that doesn't count for anything and because HBO is hyping him 80% of the board wants to put him above legit ATG's. What a ****ing joke most boxing fans are. As soon as Maravilla gets KO'd by Pirog you'll forget all about him and start hyping the next guy HBO tells you is the latest and greatest.

    where's the puke icon?
