I think there's only so much he'll be able to take & can see Rigo stopping him with clean shots, possibly a left hook to the body. Will probably have a bet myself on Rigo stoppage despite losing this weekend

I would have a bet myself on Rigo by stoppage, but I like Casey too much to be betting against him...

for the record, Rigo by stoppage rd 4 or 5

I did a thread a few months back about who has the best shot out of McCloskey, Casey & Bute.

McCloskey came out on top by some way.

Made up of more than logic and reason? All of you are saying they will lose and none of you will commit to otherwise because you know the reality of the situation. They have almost zero chance, all three of them but you will route for them all the same...

That's no different to anyone who cheered for Henman, Hatton or any other under dog in history. It's not faith, it's hope :smooch

I assume you mean McCloskey, Casey and Magee not Bute.

I would rate their chances in that order.

All three are likely to lose but the *****s of light are greater for McCloskey (chinny Khan?), Casey (unproven pro Rigo?) then for Magee who has a mountain to climb.

I think Casey's in for the worst beating rather than Magee.

Magee's better than Casey. Theres also more of a chance Magee will just get sparked whereas Casey could be walking onto shots all night depending on his toughness.

Fair point. Rigo's more about the speed and accuracy, whereas Bute is more apt to bring the power (and that's certainly not to say Bute is slow or inaccurate). Those prolonged tattooings can indeed be worse than a quick kayo. :think

I would give Casey more chance than McCloskey to be honest. McCloskey in my opinion will barley get a shot on Khan and I imagine him to get battered with so many shots that he goes down between the first and the middle. He isn't a massive brawler himself or anything, he is just a good technical fighter with a hard punch, while Khan is an excelent technical fighter with lightning hands. Rig and Casey is closer to me as Rig never looked too impressive to me, and if it does get into a brawl we will see Casey more than likley get the better of it. He has an advantagous area over Rig whilst I dont reallt see McCloskey have anything over Khan.

McCloskey CAN and in my opinion WILL beat Khan. Unfortunately Casey and Magee will probably loose
