Which fighter was more dominant in there era against there level of oposition? Also if they were all in there prime in the same era, rank them on the pound for pound list
I go for Tyson. He blasted away almost all his opponents in the first half of the fight during his prime, and was often concidered to be borderline unbeatable at the time. Problem is, his prime was pretty short. Roy Jones comes in pretty close, but no matter how much I like Pac he's miles away from beïng that dominant. Certainly with Floyd hanging around (or not so around).
I was thinking tyson but il change it to Roy jones. Jones used to demolish and toy with his opponents and was in control every second. He could Knock out at will, and win every single round easily. Also my P4P list would look like this: Jones Pacquiao (fough the best oposition around) Tyson
Tyson and Pac lost several fights in their prime, Roy Jones Jr barely lost a round for a whole decade.
Jones by far, Pacquiao, then Tyson. From 93-02, Jones was the man and was seen as unbeatable bar the Griffin fight which was his fault anyways. He hasn't been seen as a big threat since the Tarver ko. Funny how Pacquiao picks from where Jones left off starting after the Barrera fight to now only losing to Morales but like Jones, he stopped the guy that beat him. Im not sure Pacquiao is still prime but he is still dominant. Tyson had a short prime spanning from 87-90 but was seen as invincible during that time until Tokyo. I highly doubt Pacquiao will fall like they did because 1) A Martinez-Pacquiao fight will never happen and 2) He has too much in the arsenal for the inactive Floyd.
