Anyone else really pumped for Cotto/Margario II ?

Definately looking forward to it. These guys put on one of the best fights of recent times. The only fans who wouldn't want to see it, are those who call these guys shot or bums after Manny beat them. But you know what, they will want to watch it too,

 

Idiots of Margo Nation are going wild in Southern California jails knowing that one of their own is going to get paid to enter the ring again. COWARDS!

Man I can't w8 for Cotto to get revenge on Margo...I can easily c Cotto outboxing him and actually havin a solid game plan thanx to Steward.

 

I'm pumped for this, because it would be a tremendous personal feat for Cotto to beat the man who made him damaged goods. However, I can't say that I'm confident in his chances. Margarito, after the Mosley and Pacquiao defeats, isn't as damaged as I'd like. He'll still be as relentless as ever.

 

I want them to fight but not a title fight. Cotto has a score to settle and Marg something to prove.

 

not me. Margarito is a bad style matchup for Cotto. And Margarito knows it. I want to see Margarito move up to middleweight and challenge Martinez again.

 

Martinez would destroy him.

 

They may lose though. They're not the same fighters in my opinion as when they first faced each other.

 

From a promoter's perspective it doesn't make any sense. It's not even a given they could win those fights. It's not like they're building towards a mega fight to unify the division. It's just 2 guys past their prime trying to get paid.

Build towards what? These guys aren't trying to be the best anymore. They are trying to get paid.

 

hard to say. It is funny. If you look at it yeah it looks like Martinez would destroy him, but when a guy stopped another guy before usually that struggle comes up again. But I agree I think Martinez would win.

 

I hope its in Vegas for travel reasons but I think Cotto deserves it in NY..and the 3rd fight if he wins...IN VEGAS.

 

I can't wait for this fight. I really hope Cotto can get his revenge.

 

Cotto isn't pumped for it, that's for sure, he's doing all he can to not talk about without being pulled up for swerving Tony.
He threw EVERYTHING he had at Tony and he kept coming, he knows he can't discourage Tony and stop him, so he wants nothing to do with it especially as Tony will be able to be 7lb heavier at weigh in and even if he didn't have plaster, he knows he will pressure him into a place he doesnt want to go again.

Tony will walk him down and make Kneeguel Cotto take more knees. I love Cotto but Tony has his number and he knows it.

 

i think margo takes this but its probably better for cotto to try an get revenge rather than avoid the fight
