Not on immediate resume but certainly in skills. I love Sergio the man is amazing but being realistic Donaire looks superhuman whereas Martinez is just plain super.

Certainly Floyd's spot @ the top of the P4P rankings has gone and Manny is definitely struggling to vie for the number one position now but whereas everyone is making a claim for Martinez I'd say Donaire is more worthy.

It's just an opinion and everyone is entitled to one but being number two aint so bad :yep (Unless you're Floyd; boy his ego must be suffering!)

Manny is sitting safely at number one. The only thing which threatens his spot, is a fight with Floyd. Martinez has been in great form, but he's not done anything to supercede Pacquiao. There's a difference between a great 18 months that a Martinez has enjoyed, and a great decade that Pacquiao has given us.

    SO what is better?
    Being super or super human?
Being super should put you above super human wouldnt it?

Yea Donaire is definitely way better since he beat Montiel, Darchynian and hmm those guys with winning records. i think. well maybe they were losing records. I dont know they never really achieved anything so its hard for me to remember....

Good post. However if Martinez keeps fighting top level opposition and Pacquiao slows down, Martinez may surpass him in the next several motnhs. When you make rankings you should consider mainly most recent fights, not only "greatness".

It's a tough call but slightly favor Donaire. There's a reason why many people considered the Donaire/Montiel a superfight.

    Thank you, Sir.

I just feel that Pacquiao's exploits pre-Clottey should not be so easily ignored. Yes, his level of opposition has dropped in recent months, but that's because he's ran out of legit people to face. Martinez is facing a similar problem. He too is towards the end of his career, has only mediocre opposition to pick from at 160, and is preferring to chase fights which will earn him the most money.
