If this is the documentary where he has haircut...that has to be one of most creepiest moments in Boxing. Ghey...very ghey... Edit:It is....so glad he lost. Making MAB wait to beat him was a disgrace in itself. We know Mexican's don't like overtime. MAB took that out on him.
You just stealing threads from the General? I look in there about once a month for a reason. Wise up :yep
I forget how religiously motivated Naz was i think he bowed out at the right time that thrusting of Islam down American audiences throats would not have gone down to well post 9/11 methinks
like you said this was before 9/11 which changed many things around. When HBO was discussing the new contract with naz they declared that he should remain in the UK for the next few fights and also no mention of Islam etc.. Basically all the famous Muslim Boxers were told to tone down the Islamic references at that time including mike tyson, hopkins and hasim rahman..did you watch the espn doc on rahman? After he defeated Lewis and went into promoting the rematch, he was questioned about 9/11 and his thoughts etc..it was like if he was involved in that ****? Disgusting.
Ive seen this a couple of times and hadnt realised till today that naz's fitness trainer ia Maurice Core. Good documentary to watch, love or hate him but it was neva boring watching Naz's fights.
