that IS pure racism. Just as Shaunster pointed out, if you are the manager of a company and had a choice in hiring two identical candidates, one black one white, your in essence saying you would hire the white guy.

1. Hayes despicable behaviour: Yes haye acted like an immature little brat. Disrespected the Klit's in an attempt to get the fight. And DID IT WORK OR NOT!??! Your acting like Haye is the first boxer ever to run his mouth for no reason to talk himself into a title shot.
And speaking of disrespect, all wlad has done over the last 2 years is call haye a *****. Publically dissing him every chance he gets. ''Pizza Face'' all that crap. Doesnt seem like very gentlemen like behaviour to me

2. Fraudulent injuries: YES haye faked an injury to get out of the wlad fight. NOT because he was scared. because he would NOT have gotten paid. END OF! He pulled out because of MONEY. Is that right? probably not. but who here would have done differently?
Speaking of faking injuries....Wlad is CLEARLY postponing the April 30th Chisora fight to make the haye fight. I COMMEND Him for it. its GOOD that hes doing that! But in essence, he is faking because he would get more money fighting Haye. So he faked it to get MORE MONEY: How is that better than what haye did?!

ANOTHER THING: If haye had been KO'd by Wlad back then, what excitement would we have right now? the fact that everything turned out the way it did, the fact that haye has a WBA belt, means we have a genuine HEAVYWEIGHT SUPERFIGHT on our hands. Say what you want, but if Haye had been KO'd back then, we would not have the excitement we have now!

3. Fraudulent Win over Valuev? Im sorry how can a win be fraudulent? are you suggesting Haye paid valuev off? are you suggesting he paid the judges off? Are you suggesting the fight never took place, and that it was the workings of an incredibly skilled computer geek? Haye BROKE HIS HAND in round 1. Hence the potshotting from the outside. it was a very boring fight. it wasnt a good performance from haye. but he clearly won the fight. And like i said before, its because he owns the wba belt now that we have a superfight on our hands. Or are you suggesting you would rather see a valuev vs wlad unification fight?

4. YES the harrison fight was BS. I agree with you on that point. it was a pure money making scam. its disgraceful. But again, your talking like Haye is the first fighter to ever do this. It seems you get very annoyed at a lot of aspects of boxing that takes place all the time. in every weight class. Its part of the game. Trash talking. Disrespecting. Is part of the game. Haye is overrated.

He's done a great job promotion-wise since the last time this fight was announced. Nobody even knew who he was back then now he's approaching household name status.

As for him as a fighter? Well the only really good win he has is Mormeck IMO... got off the deck to KO a quality opponent in his back yard - credit for that, but he was still looking sloppy til the KO.

He has power and speed, nobody can deny that, but he's hittable and his stamina is suspect. Wlad will win and then people will start asking "who's Haye ever beaten anyway?"

Haye has - through his thrash-talking etc - created real tension and excitement to HW -division.

And mostly because of Mr. Haye´s hilarious monologue the eyes of sports fans over the world are once again focusing on boxings Heavyweight title fight. Which is absolutely fantastic. Haye has gone over the board few times (t-shirts etc) but hey - what a fight we have coming up. A real Superfight for the HW Championship.

Haye is not going to play defense like he did against Valuev. He played defense against Valuev because he knew it was possible to win that way (as the tape of Valuev vs Chagaev shows). Haye knows that Wlad has beaten every defensive fighter he has faced (see Chris Byrd for the best example of what will happen to Haye if he plays defense). Haye will be aggressive from the start, like Sanders and Brewster.

Wlad, on the other hand, knows that his best chance to avoid being blitzed and stopped again is to be very aggressive himself. The fight will not last long.

 

David Haye is the saviour of this pathetic division filled with fat bums. He only needs one Hayemaker to put Wlad crawling on canvas ala Sanders. Do I need to call chincheckers here to remind you about Wlads chin?

 

I agree: HW is full of out-of-shape fighters who take advantage of the lack of a weight limit to just eat cheeseburgers and ice cream. David Haye looks more like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and Jim Jeffries. I think he'll win this.
