it was a damm one sided rivalry The thing was that most of the Jordanhill boys were total shitebags until they got to about 5th year, and by then the only St tams boys that were left were the geeks and sensible ones who didn't want to fight so alot of the Jordanhill boys ended up taking out their years of getting chased and battered on the much younger St tams boys who were still cheeky wee dicks to us anyway.
was in uni in edinburgh and living there until about a month ago, I've papped it now though and am back in the concrete jungle of Jhill.
Over the last few years land and labour were the main costs in building a house in any part of Ireland. Building materials were very cheap so anyone with a decent sized site usually went to the bother of building a decent size gaff. It's fractionally more expensive to build a 6 bed detached house in rural Ireland than to build a 3 bed.
I should have coz I was billy no pals over there I stayed over at tollcross, next to the meadows with all the other pish students.
Trust me, we were surprised aswell, which is why we're planning to buy asap. Oh yes, he has to pay £70,000 straight up which he will be doing. I'm a future earner in the house and the house will be going on rent anyway, so I suppose that's why they offered us the Mortgage.
i own a house in northern ireland, and my brother lives there and owns a house.....and 140k is Dirt cheap. If you only need a salary of 35k to buy a house thats very cheap.
What an ignorant generalised statement to come out with, and you wonder why people give you **** sometimes.
