Margarito...How damaged is he?

Hard to tell. Margarito sustained two brutal beatings and looked like **** against a bum. Margarito is going against Cotto and without a doubt it will be a very tough fight.

 

He is done, was always a tough fighter but never great. His biggest fight now will be Cotto, other than that maybe if they feed him to Canelo or Chavez Jr

 

I think hes got enough left in the tank for one more big fight ( Cotto ) , the thing is he lost to Mosley when he was very badly weight drained , and then after a win against Garcia lost to Pacquiao which is nothing to be ashamed of , so its hard to say what he'll look like at 154 against someone like Cotto who he already beat , but I think hes got enough left in him to beat Cotto and depending on how he looks there 1 or 2 more fights , but IMO he is not the fighter he once was in the Cotto and Johnson fight

personally on gut feeling I think he still has enough to beat the likes of Cintron, Angulo, Canelo, and a few others.

 

Margarito may take more punishment, but don't let that fool you. He's often in better shape than his opponent.

Hmm cant really say. He lost to Pac but showed his chin is still there.

WE cant really tell but something tells me he will actually have a succesful stint at 154. His body looks better than ever and power is obviously still there.

Its not just the body either. His chin power and work rate is all there. He will be hell for anyone who cant stun him early.

 

Not sure.. I don't think he's as fresh and primed as he was before the Mosley fight, but I don't think he's damaged goods.. I see him and Cotto on the same level.. Same with Cotto, people think he's shot, but he's not..

Really? Wondered how he could dance with his eyes closed shut.. He was one ugly mofo after that fight..

 

He must've have gotten wasted if he was dancing looking like that.. You know he had to be in a world of pain..

 

Cintron yes but Angulo and Canelo NO WAY IN HELL!

 

I don't think that right eye is fully healed. Wasn't it said that the orbital bone was pressing right into the eye socket or something? Ever since the Pac fight, he's been wearing those dark shades/glasses alot more often and moreso indoors. He had them on the other night during Cotto's fight and in the postfight presser when he was at the podium. I would expect that right eye to be a huge target Steward would want Cotto to go after.

 

The only dancing Margarita was doing was in his dreams from the morphine while in the hospital...he was hospitalized immediately after the fight thats why he didn't give an interview...and the following Tuesday he had surgery while in the hospital to repair his orbital bone.

Margarita is toast and Cotto will stick the final fork in him !!!
