I've noticed that the majority of bookies will give you odds of 5/1 on a Solis victory. Personally, I'm gonna wait until the weigh in before I do anything. However, if he comes in at around 250lbs I may have £100 on it? Vitali's got to get old.... could it be in this fight?

Good people of eastside forum...... do I need my head checking? Am I pissing my money up the wall?!!

I'd wait for the weigh in as well. If he's properly prepared he has a chance I believe.

too be honest vitali is really old and looked not great in his last few outings , solis has the talent in there but does he have the heart and most importantly will he come in in shape . if he does i give him a good shot , worth a 5-1 shot if he does

vitali will struggle badly but win...just

but only if solis comes with the right plan. vit klit is ready to go, primed for the beating but i dunno if solis wants it enough. i get the impression he'll take his big payday and enjoy life more than ever, not winning

Vitali has a black eye from sparring. He cuts and swells so easily nowadays that I think it's worth a punt. I mean, Solis is no bum and Vitali couldn't even put away a one handed Kevin Johnson.

Solis isnt going to be able to knock him out so he is hoping for favorable scoring in Germany which is unlikely i think his best hope is to rough him up and stop him on a cut but its a big ask.

Agreed. If he turns up to the weigh-in in decent shape, I'll stick a few quid on him winning.

I don't think its that amazing to be honest considering the doubts around Vitali...age, injuries etc are almost completely negated by the fact Solis is not dedicated.

So then you've got two fighters, that on paper and reality, Vitali is a big favourite to win. It's in Germany so even if Solis does especially well he's up against it.

    I'd want 7/1.

Stan James are 10-1 for solis by ko/ tko or disq, he wouldn't get a decision, would he?

As Ishy said Weigh In will tell us a lot. If he's in shape i think he's gonna take Vitali out.

It's funny cos the state of heavyweight boxing could be changed within next 4 months.

Wlad going into Haye fight with bit more pressure on those shoulders if he see's his Bro get beaten up by Mr Solis.

Only way Vitali is likely to get stopped though is by a cut. 10-1 on getting stopped on a cut?

He dont have much chance. He was awful against the terrible Ray Austin and was blowing out his arse after 4 rounds.
    Vitali will easily handle him.
