You have already failed as you are wrong straight away :patsch. Magee fought Reid in 2004.
The Ring 2004 ratings Reid was #8. So Reid as said was a top 10 SMW

I havent tried to change Magees losses to wins, but noted that many felt his SD loss to Tsypko should have been a win, along with his draw to Oakey and a few felt he could have got the decision over top 10 SMW Reid.
Reid was past his best but good enough to beat Brinkley even further down the road who became the IBF SMW #1 contender years later

How Can Magee be a worse challenge than Abraham? Abraham has just recently lost 2 fights clearly. Abraham lost almost every round to Froch where as Magee was only a point down on 2 judges cards going into round 11 with Froch.
Im not expecting Magee to win or for the fight to be competitive, but note it is not as bad a fight as people would like to make out.

Magee was offered a place in The Super 6 at one stage after one of the fighters dropped out.

Magee turned down the offer as he was #1 contender to Sartisons WBA regular title at the time.

Now would Magee be thought of the sam had he gone into the Super 6?

I expect he would have been thought of in higher esteem due to getting name recognition that he currently doesnt have

You may be right. For exemple, not so long ago, the Road Warrior was thought too old and such. Right now, with his victory over Green, he is back on track and the hype surrounding the S6. But Magee isnt really known by the american public (compare with Johnson for exemple), so I'm not sure he would have been that hyped.

Your right, but at the same time, their concept was USA vs Europe. So when you go through all these quitting, they may have thought about Magee for a replacement...

Maybe they have thought about Magee for a replacement at some point, but I find it hard to believe they actually asked him and even more difficult to believe he would refuse to participate...

Guess we all hope Bailey will throw in a source... If there is any???

You might like more the fighters or the fights in the S6, but you cant ask Bute to stay inactive until the end of the S6.

You can wonder why Showtime decide to "figure out what to do with Bute" before the end of the S6, but its their decision and if it gives Bute the chance to go against S6 looser/S6 quitter its good for everyone.

People who are downgraing Magee clearly dont know abything about him.

He was a point down on the scorecards against Froch before he was stopped in the 12th. Dropped a very close decision against a prime Reid(Who gave Calzaghe his toughest fight, outside of maybe Hopkins)

He was basically robbed against Tspko and Oakey.

He is probably the highest rated super middle weight out there ,that
    1.Isnt in the super 6
    2. Hasnt a fight coming up.
    3.Bute hasnt already beaten.

Hes goig to surprise many here.
But even if he does, most clowns will just say its because Bute was never that good.

Bute will most likely win. Dont expect an easy nights work.
