Dwyer: Vitali-Solis is a toss up, heres why

I like Dywer but he must be a broke mufakka by now.... he has had so many wrong picks in the last year or so

 

I wonder if Dwyer would put his money where his mouth is and give me 50:50 ("toss-up") odds on a Vitali win. I'm curious.

wtf???^^ the difference is that vitali is a very big puncher. he will punish solis with every punch. and i think that solis will be demotivated after the six round because of taking powershots from vitali

 

I don't hope he's trying a career as a bookie soon, because he might be the worst ever.

PS. On the moment you get 5 times your money if you bet on Solis for the win and he somehow pulls it off. If you would believe this guy it's an amazing deal, but I'm not going to trow away my cash for this :deal

 

The guy can tell a good story. Honestly I like to listen to his picks! But he's more of a salesman who only shows you one side of the coin on his pick.

Listen up! Solis is a midget. He is not a high punch output type of guy, and can be backed up too easily. I have seem Solis lose to Roman Romanchuk ( 1-2 in three fights vs Romanchuk ), a very good amateur fighter who is a bit like Vitali in style, and except he is about 2 inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter.

Anyway, Solis can be out worked, and does not exchange unless the moment is in his favor. Solis has a high Cuban style guard, but he will simply lack the range, power, and style to win as an out fighter vs. klitschko...same as everyone else. Solis can hit hard, but in this fight to have a chance he will need to fight like Joe Frazier. That is not Solis temperament. Vitali already has Solis scared in the press conferences.

Don't get me wrong, Solis could very well be a top 5 heavy right now! He's just not going to win.

 

Maybe, I wouldn't though.

Don't forget why 2 of the last 3 Vitali bouts lasted the distance.
Kevin "safetypin" Johnson didn't even try to win, he only wanted to last the distance right from the start.
Shannon Briggs got manhandeled for 12 rounds, his face was totally smashed in, was on ***** street multiple times but just refused to give up. Most referees would have stopped in in 9 or 10, so he was "lucky" to last the full 12.

Now Solis is a better boxer as those two, but we already know he doesn't have Briggs determination, and will probably try to win the fight (unlike Johnson) so he has to take some risks. And Vitali is dead set on a KO victory wich he didn't get in the Briggs fight.

 

I doubt anyone would be that stupid, when they can get 6.6 odds for their money, by betting Solis in real betting sites.

 

I'm wondering though (I've never bet on boxing, so I am a being completely naive here).. 6.6 odds sounds pretty good to me for a guy who looks like the toughest test for a champ in decline.

I would have expected better odds for Solis, considering Vitali is near 40 years old.

If one was to apply proper money management and not bet the farm on a Solis victory it sounds like a decent enough risk to me.

 

Yeah he have somewhat playable odds. You get good odds for every Klitchko opponent these days, because the way they have dominated everyone.

For example Briggs was offered over 10.0 odds, in the fight day.

 

It is a tossup if SpongeBob and Solis tag team Klitschko. SpongeBob has endless stamina and morphing ability.

 

If Solis is at those odds,I might have a punt.

Solis is a far more talented fighter than any of Vitalis recent opponents, he packs a wallop. Hes about 10 years younger aswell.

How long can the 40 year old who has a career full of injuries hold up?

 

Thats what i'm thinkin, over 9.5 rnds i'm goin for anyway, its goin late anyway imo!
