Does he still get his chance to fight winky when his hands healed or will he drop back down to domestic for a stay busy fight and wait for another high profile opponent ???? He must have the worst luck in british boxing. Will he go for Barker now ?????:think
He's busy thinking about which trainer/promoter combinations he hasn't gone through yet before making a few calls to get the deals done.
pretty sure he is off the card. The guy has been seriously mis managed his entire career. Wouldn't be shocked to see him on the April 16th Khan card in some kind of eliminator.
Pretty sure Macklin will turn up on the Khan bill as well, seems a shame now he gave the Euro crown away.
anyone else think that we will never see macklin fight the big fights he craves because his head gets turned to new promoters and coaches every fight or so. he will soon run out of coaches and promoters who will have anything to do with him because they don't want burnt like hatton did after delivering him the european title. macklin is a waster!
I was pretty dubious but thought GBP have enough middleweights to get him a decent fight. its annoying as i am going to that card.
He burnt his bridges with neither and has a good relationship with both. Both would work with him again and you will find that out very soon.
How did the Hattons mess him around they spent a lot of money getting Aiskainen in for him and i was a big payday for a FFN. Macklin's career hasnt been mismanaged he has mismanaged it by going from promoter to promoter he hasnt had the time to be built up or have a planned route to a title its jsut been a case of what he can get.
