Don't be silly, his picks take the odds into account.

only way solis can win is to come forward and be agressive, and stay in vitali's face, solis is nearly 6 .5inches or 17 cm shorter than vitali, staying in the vitali's face and being the agressor he must do to win !... this is why mike tyson or even david tua would beat vitali klits not just coz they can bang, not just coz they fight on the inside, but coz they are short and vitali is tall, "and must punch down" .. u lose accuracy and power... solis can cause the upset only if he is agressive from the start of every round and breaks vitali early

IMO Solis simply should try the Kingpin Johnson strategy. Stand with the back to the ropes and try to counter Vitali for a couple of rounds and see how that works out for him. Vitali seemed to have trouble landing on Johnson at times.

Dwyer is generally ok but he makes some ridiculous stretches at times, this being one of them.

Yes, and I think most seem to overstate the power Solis has , or make that, don't have.

Solis isnowhere near the powerpuncher Peter or Arreola are, so Vitali will have no need to move and stay as mobile as he was against the hard punching Arreola.

I see Vitali having no intrepidation about bearing down on his shots and getting the knockout he wants, after the Briggs fight.

You can't just walk in on Klitschkos with a high guard plodding your way into punches.

Sam Peter tried that and even with his concrete beard was demoralized. I don't think Solis has Peter's beard nor resolve.

Oh and skills don't account for **** if you can't get close enough to use them. Ask Chris Byrd about that.

Sometimes I think Dwyer posts these videos just to make for a better contest at the bets.

    Good video! Especially 0:45-0:56.

Watch how Vitali turns Arreola, and makes him miss those shots. :thumbsup

I agree that Solis should not be under estimated and I'm sure Vitali will not do so.

From what I understand, Vitali's prior injuries are not an issue. With today's medical advancements (injuries that could end a career 20 years ago can now be fixed with an outpatient procedure) 40 is not old for a HW in good shape.

One punch can make a difference in a HW fight (which is why it is still my favorite division) but I suspect Solis is going to look like Kevin Johnson did against Vitali come May 19th.

    We shall see :good

Both Klitschko's are masters at splitting the gloves of a high guard. To me this is an awful match up style wise for Solis he is giving up over 6 inches in height to a guy that knows how to fight tall and has an awkward lean back style. How is Solis going to land on Vitali?

Despite being shorter, Solis has huge reach--maybe that was part of why he was such a devastating amateur.

I don't think Solis looks particularly fit so I don't think this going 12 rounds is a very good wager. Solis can go 9-10 rounds against VK before he gasses and when he does Vitali will find a way to finish it.

    Damn I didn't realize it's a new Vitali - Solis video.

It's lovely to see that he thinks Solis is superior in every department compared to Vitali. Dwyer would predict way better if he actually bet his money on the crap he predicts.
