those are some serious middle weights, kelly "the man who beat the man who beat the man" pavlik is the only real middle weight he has fought and pavlik loses to everyone on that list. Martinez is too untested against world class middleweights.

Ok its gonna take too long to dissect all of them so ill just say win,Lose or pickem on these.

Jones beats Martinez probably by ko
Toney this is almost pickem but ill go with Toney
Hopkins Bhop wins a close decision
Mccallum This is a pickem, draw or split decision for either guy.
Eubank very competetive fight but Martinez does more and wins close but convincing decision

Benn Martinez survives early kd and scare and comesback to stop Benn in the mid rounds

Watson Martinez wins this in exciting match late stoppage
Nunn Nunn fights a safety first fight after tasting Martinez power early and wins a decision

Mccellan-:think More times the bigger Mccellan takes out by the midrounds, however i can see Martinez surviving the storm and getting G-Man late or winning a decision

Kalamby- Very close win for Martinez judges like his harder punching in a fight that could have gone either way.

Graham- Graham looks great takes the early rounds, by mid rounds Martinez is doing well then stops Graham late.

Jackson- Pickem... Either Man looks brilliant in win... Jackson by brutal Ko or Martinez puts on clinic then scores big ko.

You could have saved yourself the time and just said, with the exception of GMan, American Middleweights beat Martinez and British & European Middleweights lose to Martinez.

Benn vs Sergio would have been an epic war. I don't think Sergio could defeat prime Roy, but I would say he defeats most of the names on that list.

I suspect that Martinez vs BHop and Martinez vs Toney would have been push fights.

:lol: But its the truth the american mws were just better all around fighters.,and Martinez is somewhere in between but in all honesty . By the way i said G-Man wins more often than not against martinez. G-man early but if itgoes past 6 ill take Maravilla. Actually those Euro-Brit fighters were all top quality fighters but just a slight notch below.... Martinez is somewhere in between.

Forget it, bro. These Euros are so hung up on the American-Euro comparisons that logic will not penetrate.

Do you know what's hillarious, however?

These Euros constantly bemoan the supposed jingoism or national bias of American posters, but many of those clowns are complete homers for Euro fighters and never consider their own hypocrisy in these affairs.

:good Exactly hes acting like if those Americans in general are not more highly regarded... When in fact they are and not just by Americans but by the general world boxing public.... Jones,Toney,Hopkins are All time greats..Nunn great temporarily, G-Man one of the most dangerous punchers ever. Eubank,Benn,Kalamby are bordering HOF, Graham and Watson are not or ever will be considered for the IBHOF.

PS Hoopsman you are so right about them being hung up on comparisons, as i never even thought of these fighters nationalities when making the comparisons, i ididnt realize that until the Euro up there^ brought it to my attention.

    Roy Jones - beats martinez
    James Toney - 50/50
    Bernard Hopkins - beats martinez
    Mike Mcallum - beats martinez
    Chris Eubank - beats martinez
Nigel Benn - 75/25 beats martinez
    Michael Watson - not sure
    Michael Nunn - beats martinez
    Gerald Mclellan - KTFO martinez
    Sumbu Kalambay - idk
    Bomber Graham - idk
Julian Jackson - 50/50 simply because I think Martinez could knock him out but if Jackson lands Martinez is gone.

wow. the current crop of middleweights is so pathetic when compared to that list.

that's why martinez has to fight the super six guys.

I'm sorry, but how can you have those two beating Martinez, yet be unsure about Kalambay and Graham, who were both superior to Eubank and Benn (and in Kalambay's case, far superior)

I think Martinez would beat Hopkins (current Hopkins) just based off of workrate.
