Roy Jones would destroy them all with lazer beams from his eyes and fireballs from his arse! Than he moves up to Heavyweight and crushes the weak white Champions..all three of em.

Eh.that sounds fun but I'm leaning towards Roy Jones bitching about money and not entering the tournament as the most likely scenario.

Mongoose you just hate modern-ish black H2H monsters.

The problem is with Roy's fragile Glass Jaw when matched in H2H fights with other good fighters who can punch and put pressure he doesn't look so good.

No one ever said Roy had a bad chin til he was 36 years old. To think some of the guys he beat wouldn't have had some success against this crop of 168s, is shortsighted.
I was not a big Roy fan and I think he spent a lot of time avoiding the toughest challenged he could've faced, but he had dazzling skills and there's no denying that. No one got close to his chin when he was in his prime.

If Lou Del Valle could put him on his ass than a few of the Super 6 guys could too. I don't think it is too far fetched to say that.

Whether you like it or not, RJJ was a great fighter, as was Toney when he lost to Jones, none of the current crop have proven that they are great, don't get wrong, they're good but not great.

:| "Roy Jones waz shotz!" :|

For the record I dislike anyone that needs the title "H2H monster" as it implies people judge them by how well they could potentially do in fantasy match ups as opposed to what they actually did. This goes for fighters off all color, class, and creed. Jones should be favored over the Super 6, but his career was incredibly frutsrating to follow, and I honestly see him not particpating in something like this. For the record, I would give the same response if this thread was about Joe Calzaghe.

It's approximately as far-fetched as thinking Sergiy Dzindiruk would have dominated a prime Thomas Hearns. An opinion held by your buddy, the eminent and inimitable, "bailey".

Roy Jones was always only ever a paper champion right up to when he beat Ruiz in his career. Jones avoided the best fighters from his division. Jones has a win over Toney but just look at Toneys weak SMW resume, its laughable and Jones SMW resume is no better. Jones went up to LHW where he only had Michalczewski to avoid rather than Benn, Collins (as a SMW), Eubank and later Calzaghe. Smart move.
Jones would have been beaten by a few of the S6 members
