I was convinced that this fight would be made to be honest. Too bad Alvarez is with Golden Boy right? Arum a scumbag and if anyone beats Cotto's ass he's gonna make sure it's one of his fighters. Boxing is such **** :deal

That doesn't mean you don't make a fuss over something as trivial and pointless to discuss like 'hype'. But I noticed you need something to talk about. Might as well be something like hype... it suits you. :D

Boxing is built on hype nowadays, it is the only thing that drives it into the public eye. The problem is fighters get enough hype and then become fakes and fight novelty fights with no meaning. Margarito should be fighting 154lb prospects until he builds up some momentum to challenge for a belt. Cotto should be fighting guys who have earned a shot at a belt. End of story. :good :D It's been a while since I've been faced with your stupidity, I see nothing has changed :verysad

Yeah it's annoying. Guys like Mosley and Cotto have good performances in them, but they can't hang with the elites anymore. They should be dropped down to help hype up some up and comers. It's not that they will be beaten easily, they are vetrans and still very tough. If someone like Alvarez for example wants to be a great and fight the elites, he would need to stick to a lesser compitition first. He stepped up against experienced yet never have been fighters over his last three fights. Mosley and Cotto could pose challenges as a next stepping stone to these guys, and could easily turn that stepping stone into a brick wall.

Cotto is too small and short for 154 IMO... he should fight Margarito and than try and fight Berto at 147...Martinez is too big and too good. I'd like to see him fight Cintron or Martirosyan at 154, but Kirkland, Angulo and Martinez are all wrong for him. A fight with Williams at 154 would be intriuging too.

Cotto should fight whoever he goddamn pleases. He has fought them all and cemented his legacy. It's pretty clear that he was a tremendous 140 and 147 fighter and that he just came up short to be at the elite of the P4P fighters. And it is also clear that he isn't the same after his 2 brutal losses.

He should go after paydays. Margarito, Mayweather, Pacquiao rematch.. He doesn't have that many fights left anymore.

Boxing is a business moreso then sport nowadays. You're hero, DLH, played a part in making boxing come that direction. You ARE aware guys have moved up one division to secure a title shot right? :patsch BTW...I'm sure you were one of those guys who insist JMM win some fightys at 140 or 147 before DESERVING to face Pac right? Or that he win at WW before facing Floyd? Yeah, you said all those right? NOPE... You have the consitency of weak old milk...

Yes, it has been a while since you faced me, I generaly avoid your hysterical, little girl style posts.

Has JMM lost 2 of his last 3 fights? Don't compare the JMM/Pac situation to Margo and Mayorga getting title shots at 154lbs, they are not even close.

I never defended the Floyd/JMM fight, but it was still better than Cotto fighting Mayorga and Margo back to back.

WTF does that matter. You are giving Margartio **** for not having any wins at JrMW. Despite his record just one division below. But JMm doesn't need to prove anything a couple divisions above his division for his shots. Nice consistency...
