120-106 on all 3 cards to Calzaghe, with Ward dropping points for illegal tatics. Joe would have made mincemeat of Ward. Easy nights work for the Welshmen.

I look forward to your universal agreement.

Ward has the potential to beat him. he isnt even 27 yet and has fought very well. he is reaching his prime. so yes ward can beat him.

    Ward by UD....116-112

iw ould also pick a prime Micheal nunn, Toney, Jones Nigel Benn t beat Joe.....though he beats Collins Macullum, Eubank any day of the week.....Joe dominated a very weak supermiddle era....

Ward is the best P4P fighter in the world right now, but Calzaghe is the best of all time.

Calzaghe wins, but Ward is one of the few in history who wouldn't look a complete fool against prime Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe 118-110 type margin.

Ward could not beat Clazaghe, but it would be closer than 120-106.
    Id say 116-111.

Ward has not been deducted points before, so I doubt Ward has any points deducted.
Still Calzaghe would outbox Ward on the inside and on the outside for (prime Calzaghe a TKO within 6 rounds) (presuming Calzaghe at the end of his career) a late stoppage after winning every round clearly in the process.
Remember that Calzaghe beat Americas 2 best SMW of the decade and Americas 2 legends not to mention every American SMW that was willing to face him :smoke

Must be even weaker now as Froch who is arguably considered Wards biggest threat lost to an unwell version of a fighter a past prime Calzaghe beat

I just cannot support anybody from wales, ever.

Ward is the better athelete + home-town judges & refs in oakland.

Ward by a close, contested decision that has hordes of welshman whinging & makes my day.

Calzaghe throws and lands over 1000 punches , barely gets hits and loses 120 - 108. Ward makes Sven Ottke look like the road warrior.

Lose his wallet maybe. It's who the judges are not where the location is.

I do strongly urge Ward to fight outside of Oakland just to shut his critics up :good

Wow, I think like Bika and Hopkins, Ward's smothering would make Calzaghe look ugly. Joe would still probably win but it wouldn't be an easy night for him.
