Was talking about Canelo Alvarez style with my dad the other day and he brought up how Canelo and Torito had similar styles although Ayala was more polished... I had never thought about it but i very much agree although i think Ayala was probably more mature(physically) and even hit harder, better chin too from what ive seen so far. Even somewhat similar builts Canelo is maybe an inch taller but both strong thick and kind fleshy builts. Agree or not?

Piece of **** or not....Ayala was alot more talented than Canelo, and would have destroyed Canelo.

Oh yes i do agree Ayala would have knocked out Canelo... I should have said Canelo is a tamer or poor mans Ayala.... There combinations are very similar dont you think?

Have you seen alot of Tony Ayala? I think its there aggressiveness is similar and there combos, also their shaky defense... I think both actually have some defense when the want too, but i just think they dont mind getting hit so long as they get in to do their damage.

Canelo isnt as aggressive as Ayala, nor is he as brutal. So no... I dont see it.

Brandon Rios is more like Ayala, than Canelo is. Only Ayala had more skills and talent than Rios.

No not really but I actually thought Ayala's defense was pretty sound as he'd slip inside, maybe a tad reckless but still. The puppy fat and somewhat flat footedness remind me of Cotto too
