:patsch So? Let me guess, losing one extra pound from his previous fight, and STILL being able to hydrate as he pleased TOTALLY weakend him, right?

So he was internet hype when he beat Mosley right?

Maybe that's because Alvarez has never fought any real competition as of yet.. Cotto has fought Judah, Mosley, Pacman, Margarito, and the list goes on... Cotto lost to Margarito.. so evening the score doesn't sound like a bad idea...

If you were Cotto's promoter would you sign him to fight Martinez,.. a guy with way more skills, speed and who could put Cotto in a coma?

Well for one, why the uproar over Delahoya wearing fishnets but not a peep about Cotto's suspect relationship with Brian??? :yep kidding, sort of

I don't know man, I give up. You've inevitably put me in my place again with your superior wit and bottomless pit of boxing knowledge. I will however, not consider Miguel Cotto a champion at 154. He won the belt fair and square, but hasn't defended it yet and doesn't seem to want to :bart

Revenge fights are stupid and pointless. Cotto Just had his easy fight with Mayorga.
He shares the WBA championship at 154 with Austin Trout. Saul Alvarez is the WBC champion.
Corneluis Bundradge is the IBF champion and Sergei Dzinziruk as well as Alfredo Angulo are the champions of the WBO. Any of these would be better choices than Margarito would be.

For one, I have no idea who brian is. Second, are there picture for proof that Cotto can later pay off to say they were fake? :D

Oh come on, I play, even if a little mean spirited. :D And no, Cotto ISN'T the JrMW World champ. I haven't seen anyone strake his claim as World Champ. He's a titlist as far as I am concerned. But Cotto HAS defended it against a wormer WW World Champ and JrMW titlist. You know, same guy whom DLH won his 'title' back from a few years ago.

Ya, and its not like the ufc would ever let someone get a shot at the title with less then a handful of fights in their life... Oh wait... Ya their champs are so prestigous lol

Ive never seen so much crap over a fighter taking on someone who will probably be the fav to beat them, while avenging a loss at the same time lol
