Just read about this on the front page. I'm American but I'm a pretty big fan of Macklin and Ghevor is obviously touch as nails as showed by the tough fight he gave Abraham and the fact he was robbed against Sturm. I think Ghevor's strength and toughness, along with his underrated ring savy could spell trouble for Macklin. Any thoughts?
Oh, yes GOOD fight :happy Gevor should take this IMO. He was unlucky a few times, particularly the Sturm fight IMO.
If macklin couldn't convincingly beat that Spanish guy who basically did nothing except plod forward and move his arms then he's going to struggle with a real pressure fighter here.
At super middle? Maybe he's one of those fighters though. His fights at middle convince me he's better than that performance (without having seen it if you know what I mean?)
This is potentially a good fight and Ghevor is no joke if the Macklin that fought agaisnt that Spanish guy turns up he will be in trouble
Ghevor was outboxed early on but came on strong in the 2nd half. Sartison was a clear winner though. Ghevor looked a little small at sm.
If it isnt it really does no favours to Macklin. I wish the Barker fight would have just come off he could have fought him on the Hennessey bill and be looking to push on
