    I agree, the guy has great defense, good power, good chin, and great footwork. He also started late so he's not battle torn, and peaked quite nicely

    Maravilla by TKO come on now. Sergio's too slick for Hagler. Leonard vs Martinez would be 50/50.:bbb Martinez boxes Hearns ears off his head and KO him in the 7th.

    Dzinziruk connected 47% of his power shots against Sergio, which is pretty high. If those were punches from Hagler, Sergio would be hurt instead of just annoyed by Dzinziruk.

    I know but like always when you pin an all time great legend against a current fighter is like sacrilegious around here. People act like is not possible that a two weight champion would give a guy like hagler a fight

    ESB syndrome - win in a dominating fashion to a supposed "world class" Euro and you are suddenly ATG.

    Come on. Suddenly Martinez is the next RJJ. H2H match up terror. Though he was floored by a slow moving Williams, got hit by Dzin too easily.

    Seriously, I favor modern fighters as much as the next guy but be serious.

    ESB Sunday night syndrome.

    RJJ, Lewis, Pea and PBF all have H2H accolades against anyone and they are not even top 20 ATG in anyone's list (well maybe except Pea).

    Martinez is not even HoF caliber (yet) and he is already considered to beat "EASILY" a top 3 ATG MW.

    Come on, because he beat the crap out of Pavlik, Williams and Dzin? I am not even sure these 3 fights are in the same level as old Hagler beating prime Mugabe.

    And you make it sound like Hagler is from the holy B&W Golden Age of boxing.
