Cotto had nothing but trouble with Pac's speed and power, now you put him in the ring with Martinez, a guy that is just as fast (if not faster) and has MORE power, Cotto eats the canvas.

    Martinez TKO by the 9th

Before the Dzinziruk fight i said he had a good shot at out boxing Martinez. After that fight i say he has no shot. Martinez used to have trouble with a boxer. He obviously fixed that up. Martinez pulled a Froch on us. He came out of no where and became a boxer. Using that jab to keep distance. He out jabbed a jabber!!!

So we know Cotto is not gonna out brawl Martinez. Out boxing now seems out of the question too. HIs chin will fail him big time against Martinez. Also if an old Mayorga was able to land on him Martinez will have no problem.

Still upset that Cotto won? Mayorga ain't break **** unless it was his nose when Cotto connected with it.. Nice to see how you're still calling Cotto kneeguel when Mayorga did the same damn thing and took a knee and pulled a "no mas".. If you can't post sensible ****, then you shouldn't post at all..

BTW, Jacory Harris is a **** qb :yep..

Martinez is too skilled for Cotto, imo.. Martinez would widely outpoint Cotto..

Therein lies the key. I like Cotto, but he's vulnerable defensively. In light of Martinez's blossoming power and excellent handpseed, Cotto's suspect defense doesn't bode well.

Martinez may not hit as hard as Mayorga, but a well-timed punch that Cotto doesn't see will certainly spell doom from the Boricua. Right now Martinez' confidence is sky high. He almost stopped Pavlik, KO'ed Williams, and had a TKO vs Dzi. Mentally and physically, Martinez is at an all-time high. He is a very dangerous fighter for anyone right now. The only weakness I see is the fact that he seems to tire a bit too easily or he has breathing problems. It sometimes seems that he is gasping for air during the break. I dunno what it is, but Williams was pushing him something fierce in their first fight and it was definitely taking a toll on Martinez, even though I thought Martinez edged it.

Right now I would favor Martinez to KO Cotto at '54 or '60.

This. Martinez is looking for a big paycheck. He knows he is too small for 168 lbs.

Cotto isn't ready for Martinez. Cotto should look to keep building himself back up. Rematch Margo, then maybe go after Williams, Cintron, Drzzy. Most importantly find a way to fix that defense.

Cotto will resort to low blows which he's done in big fights. My guess is he'll QUIT as he did against the bum Margarito.

Personally I believe he would lose in a convincing fashion against each and every one of the fighters you have mentioned.( aside from Margo)
