Nonito Donaire signs to GBP!

hope he makes a tonne of money , arum was saying he was on a minimum of 250k for his next fight but arum was gonna pay him 500k

be interesting to see what gbp pay him for his next fight and what his signing bonus was??

 

So I wonder if Arum is going to say Donaire is ducking everybody under the Top Rank banner now? Would not surprise me in the least.

 

I smell a lawsuit from Uncle Bob - he was claiming he had a contract with Donaire.

True but after he fights Mares or Agbeko he goes back to fighting sub-par opposition like he was before facing Montiel considering all the top guys at 122 and 126 are with Arum and theres no way he will let them fight Donaire after a move like this.

I was under the impression he was solid under Top Rank. Lawsuits anyone? This is an excellent move by GBP BTW, Pac, Floyd and Martinez won't be around forever and Nonito is the goods.

 

Exactly, yeah he'll get the Mares fight, he'll get good money but when he wants to step up all the big names will be with Top Rank. Fights won't happen :-(

It would be funny if Nonito signed while he's still under contract with TR because Oscar gave him a $500,000 signing bonus in cash.

**** ARUM sooner or later when Donaire Knocks out the 122 and 126 Division... everyone will be wanting the fight... and he will continue looking like a dick..

at on GBP he will get good competitive fights instead of being a milk carton that ARUM sucks and **** like PACQUIAO squeezing the most he could like a puta...lol


Plus Donaire is a super star now.... if he ever does move it would benefit Arum to make the fights for Gamboa Lopez... because those guys ain't superstars yet.. like the P4P Donaire.

 

Arum's stable bum fighters are actually top competitors in the lower weights.. JML, Gamboa, Garcia, WV2 as somebody stated is co-promoted by Top Rank, and Montiel whom Donaire just defeated.. He was going to get plenty of good fights..

I seriously think he's just going to GBP just to fight Moreno and Mares.. Maybe he'll return to Top Rank down the road.. I was caught off guard with his jump..

 

He was getting good fights.. He got Sidorenko, Montiel, and was on the verge of fighting Moreno.. He could have also gotten a fight with WV2.. The only good fights I see him getting with GBP is Mares and a better chance at Moreno..

 

IMO he will get good fights regardless of who he signs with..

Yeah down the ROAD in a few years GAMBOA LOPEZ... but that's thinking to much in the future... who knows what that will bring... DONAIRE is thinking present and GBP was his best choice now... to also Not be in PACQUIAOS shadow.. donaire will be his own MAN and live in no ones shadow but Donaires. unify divisions and be a true great champion worthy of calling himself undispueted.

 

i hate to think he didn't want those fights. W over these 2 would've made him another Filipino legend.

 

After the Mares fight, I see Donaire disapearing being loss in the shuffle.
